  • The only way we can take out GMO foods from the market is to support and keep supporting organic farmers, especially the ones doing indigenous organic crops. It's very straightforward.
It's not rocket science that the one sure way to get more indigenous organic crops both now and, in the future, is to eat more indigenous organic crops now. It's just basic common sense. If you want more fruits, then produce more seeds by eating more fruits. And this principle cuts across all our food systems.

It is also true about the seasons where food is concerns.

Yes. Everything works around time and seasons. To go against that is to go against life itself. We are nature and nature is us. When we fight or dishonor nature, we fight and dishonor ourselves. It's pretty simple.

The Austrian trick to make organic food sustainable was to show consumers why healthy costed more and was better. In Africa and India promoting people to grow as much of their own organic food in their backyard is the most viable option. It's also good to plant fruit trees outside of schools and to plant butternut and creeper type veggies in open fields.

And what you mentioned about Africa and India is the natural way for true food security and food sustainability. Its as simple as planting vegetables and fruits around the house rather than planting grass. Who eats grass....

We really need to change our ways as humans. You know, all these funny corporations like to talk big words in big conferences about sustainability but sustainability begins with respect and honor for nature and ourselves. We don't respect life and health and then cry when faced with imbalance in nature. It just baffles my mind.

@@MsingiAfrikaTV you're right - they tend to use it as a slur but if we want, we can reclaim it by referring to its original definition.

@@MsingiAfrikaTV They always pair the words primitive and backward, and so I think the meaning of the word has changed a little bit as well. The more i learn about my ancestors, the more deeply i respect them. The more I can see just how wise they were, how restrained they were, how dignified they were in their simplicity. These days, the way I see it; Western society is like a 5 year old child who thinks that they know better than their 90 year old grandmother, just because they jump over a log and Mamma walks around it. These days i'm learning to walk.

Food is the biggest spiritual war. The tree of knowledge was sorcery. Taking care of the temple is the main priority because that is where the Spirit of Yah dwells. Organic Food goes hand in hand with the Word, our temples where made organically not synthetically.
