- Cece and Nick Bowman take us inside their incredibly charming guest house in West Palm Beach, Florida.
For more extraordinary home tours, visit our website: homeworthy.com/
Cece, a seasoned decorator with 13 years of experience at Kemble Interiors, and her husband Nick, had a vision beyond mere aesthetics when they acquired the property adjacent to their home. Their aim was twofold: to fashion an inviting space for entertaining and to provide their growing family of five with a sanctuary for creativity and joy.
Originally cloaked in outdated blue carpet, concealing its original terrazzo floors, the guest house demanded a complete overhaul. The result is nothing short of spectacular-a vibrant symphony of colors, textures, and playful accents that exude a sense of laid-back luxury. Each room beckons with its own distinct charm, from the sunlit living areas adorned with plush furnishings and captivating artwork, to the cozy bedrooms enveloped in crisp linens and whimsical details.
But perhaps what makes this home tour truly special is the palpable sense of joy and warmth that radiates from Cece and Nick as they share their passion for design and family life. Their love for this space is infectious. Enjoy!

Is it me or does this couple seem like they are super in love?! Love their energy together- love their passion for fun living!
She seems controling and he seems easy going
@@mmvs1809Thank you! I could see he was very pissed with her sarcasm! I really like him, but I find she is a bit self-righteous, but I don’t think he will be as loving and kind too her in the next Interview! I think he will be a bit more unwilling to Booster up, and let her just do it maybe by herself! I found her a bit nasty for taste! I know I could work with her, are sit and have her act better then thou!!! I would say really I think it’s you that is a win, because he’s very lovely….. and you need to take notes from him! She acts like a puffer fish!!! And I find her quite boring, shut up and let him have the spot light!!!! Geez, the gull of some people!
@@janetduos1852I agree she was annoying. During the entire tour she kept putting down the house. The envelope, the decor are all beneath her because her “real” house is better? Then why feature it? I feel sorry for the husband.
@@-.-.-.-.-.. totally agree! And she even talked down to her husband! He would lift her and she would talk down to him! But he looked at her at the end like B-ch please!!! I bet he told her a thing are two! I just did not like her from the jump start! I just don’t see how people could say they are so in love??? You would not talk down to your partner like she would do!
What a lovely fun couple! Now of course I want to see the _real_ house!
Would love to see their main house!
You two look so happy. Your husband looks at you with love in his eyes. Precious.
funny I said the same thing! Lovely to see...
So nice to see a home that hasn't been "gut renovated" and the designers kept the 1950's charm!
Absolutely agree! So neat to see!
Some of those homes have been so neglected and poorly maintained, that they have no other choice.
Unfortunately many of these homes were sold, and the architecture style that the new owners chose is industrial. It’s very sad how the city has changed. These houses were from the 1040’s 😫
Call me old fashioned and behind the times, born in the early 50's. This is what I think of when I think of a Florida home. 😊 A delightful place to spend time.
Exactly. It was a bit off putting that they kept referring to it as a playhouse or cottage or place for the very young children to use (?) It had to have cost a pretty penny in that location no matter the condition and many would give their eye teeth to live in it and call it HOME. Would also like to point out that probably 90% of Americans have "only" a 4 burner stove. That being said the result is very homey & bright. I do wonder about the sunroom with three glass walls & no apparent window coverings in FL. Sauna anyone?
Pool or guest houses are more the norm, but their pool is in their main house which must be tricky with 3 very young children.
My favorite was the "wicker" room walls which reminded me of Polynesian tapa cloth. I just may steal that idea!
What a beautiful home, and beautiful couple!
May God bless your family!
Well Homeworth, I can finally comment. It has been some time since I have seen anything to my 'own' liking. I found this guest home to be so full of color and natural light and their down to earth personalities of shopping at Target or Etsy was delightful. I am sure others have/will comment on wanting to see their actual home. It would be a prize for your viewers. Thanks for this one. Loved it ~
I love to hear that you have a lead Dad! Your kids and you will be better for this life!
Adorable guest house, and so fun ! I would love to see this couple's main Home 🏡
Love closed kitchens and NON-open floor plans
I just tried to talk a friend into having her kitchen like than but no, she wants to be in the middle of things cooking while folks are over
ABSOLUTELY LOVE this home and this couple !!!!!!! I soooo love that they left the home as original as possible !!! That yellow tile bathroom is. THE BEST, GORGEOUS !!!!!!!!
Adorable couple & adorable house. Envious of those Terrazzo floors, original bathrooms & all that outdoor space. So pretty & inviting. I like that they not only stuck to original style but added to it.
What a fun couple! I like the unique episode selection (guest house). This couple did an exceptional job of modernizing their house while maintaining the original character.
And this is their play house. Imagine the "main house". 🙃
I would enjoy a “relaxing”weekend in this beauty cottage🥰I like the ‘50 vibe 👩🌾
I loved this charming house. She is wonderfully talented! I also appreciated the dynamics of the couple. He is such a supportive partner and confident in himself and doesn't feel the need to compete with wife. This is one of my favorite tours😊
First of all, it was lovely to hear the husband contributing to the video. They are very much in love and it’s beautiful when one can actually see it. There’s a lot of warmth there and I imagine those little girls have daddy reduced to putty, which is just how it should be till mummy comes home and draws the line.
BUT,
Let’s not forget however this couple are financially secure enough to buy the house next door for her to decorate so the children have more grass to play on and enough mula that daddy quits his job so mom can pursue her dream job. Phew! I’ve had dreams like that.
Love seeing homes full of color!
Love love love this home 🩵💛💚. Please ask Cece to let us through her main house! 😊
Absolutely love this couple. and thanks for this fun and down to earth home tour. just delightful.
I loved having the home tour with the two of you together. Thank you so much for sharing the story of this home, and your own lives! Your honesty about "bring food and we can be friends" made me laugh aloud. Thank you!
Yay to no white walls!!!
So very cheerful and fun! I love the vibe. The clever use of budget friendly items along with good design ideas make it special. Lovely couple.
I have started watching Home Worthy just this year. This Florida home/guest house, is so fresh and delightful! The coolness in color and white painted furniture combined with wicker pieces is very relaxing. The style is truly Florida Beach. This one is my favorite! From a Florida Space Coast Kid, Sali❤
Lovely couple and lovely home! Can't believe this is just the guest house!
I enjoyed this tour, a lot. I grew up in Fort Lauderdale and our family home had terrazo floors and I love, love, love anything wicker. I appreciate them decorating with things from places where I too shop. Fun, pretty not fussy decorating.
I enjoyed viewing this bright, charming, colourful guest cottage. From the pastel pink door that welcomes, to the calming blue hue in the twin beds' room, and the soothing green in the family room. It is a cheerful, cozy, delightful home that is well-appointed yet feels so laid-back and inviting. The furnishings and decor successfully create a carefree tropical atmosphere. The beauty and tranquility will indeed enchant guests. I'd love to see their main house. Well done! 🌴🩷🩵💚🌴
A guest house is perfect to apply great fresh colours. WONDERFUL HOME !
Beautiful cottage, so perfect for Florida!
So adorable, both the home and this cute couple. Good job guys!!
How super lovely this little cottage is and how they maintained the original charm!! I would love to see the main house! xxJ
I loved this beautiful home. Such great colours and quirky. What a lovely couple. 💖🏡
I love the whimsy of this home. It’s a fun-filled space that inspires the imagination! I also appreciate that items were sourced from places that are more affordable than a lot of the designer home tours I see.
What an absolutely lovely home and the motivation behind acquiring it is commendable. Cece and Nick project a very genuine and harmonious energy. Nick is such a cool English guy, comfortable enough in his own skin to acknowledge that Cece is "the expert" and that he defers to her for most of the design decisions, which they then execute together. I love that Cece will defer to Nick to articulate some of the challenges they encountered in creating this beautiful home. So many interiors end up looking contrived and soulless. This house is a joy and a refreshing change!
Martinis and old fashions are two of my husband’s favorites. He can stop by, have a drink, and then make you a margarita 😅
I love how they kept the retro tiles in the bathroom. Very sweet home!
Love it all! What a wonderful couple!
I love this house! It’s so colourful and bright! It has such a happy vibe to it! It’s so nice that they were hands on with the detail and decoration. Lovely, relatable couple too! 😊 ☀️🌈
That is such a happy house and they're such a great couple.
Best thing in the entire house (which is super cute itself), is the chandelier over the dining table! Hands down my favorite.
Suggestion: consider loosing the wall between the dining area and the kitchen and doing an island with a cooktop instead so you can get rid of the stove. Do a white quartz countertop and maybe a drawer style dishwasher. Move the fridge back to its original spot and slide in a skinny glass front cooler for drinks right next to it.
Outside of that, the whole thing is a precious little cucumber sandwich - I love it!
Yea now I’m more intrigue to see what their actual house look like
Love this happy guest house. I'm especially fond of the stencil in the rattan pattern on the wall in one of the bedrooms.
The guest house is amazing but whats more amazing is the way the he looks at his beloved wife.. love in the air... ❤❤❤ would love if they show their main house ❤
Lovely couple so clearly in love! What a lovely space they've created for themselves, daughters and friends. And they clearly are on paths they feel fortunate to follow. Kudos! ❤❤
OMG I love what they did to this home. Can we see the main house please?!!!!
LOVE the terrazzo floor! Wow, what a find! The color palette is restful, yet fun. Very Palm Beach.
Just adorable! I love the traditional Miami vibe. Retiring to Miami and pray I can find something with character. Thank for sharing such a fresh, unpretentious and cozy spot.

What a great job you did…a real luxury to most but you made it personal. Home is where your family is and I can imagine your family together here!
Very inspiring. Am in an old Florida ranch with terrazzo floors and have been looking for ideas for our next renovation phase. Great show. I have always loved the Kemble style. Great to see a designer of hers.
I'm getting a golden girls vibes. Plus the door color and numbers make me think of a motel.

I ADORE this house!
Cece, How creatively you and Nick have re-envisioned your next-door annex for entertaining and hosting company. It is easy to tell how much you care for your family and working as a team to bring this vintage home to a happy solution. Would you be willing to share the resources and any spec info for the 2 brass and glass side tables on the sunporch? TY in advance. jgd
Thank you!!! They are safavieh !
She reminds me of Juli on the American Viscountess. She even has the Chicago accent (if I have my accents correct).
I love them ❤
Why does the front door open outwards….? Luv the use of colour in this interior.
