Gregg unexpectedly fell in love with her dream home and transformed it into a masterpiece that seamlessly blends Southern charm with artistic elegance. Though a renovation project, the home boasted great bones that Gregg saw nothing but potential in. I agree with Gregg. I like homes that have divided rooms. You can decorate differently in each room. I'm not a fan of the open concept. I don't want anyone to see me dirty dishes in the sink! I love, love, love her style and I like the statement that she made that she loves what she loves and doesn't have a certain design concept. Rock on!
Agreed! I have a 1920s cottage and the prior people opened up a wall in my living room to my kitchen and it drives me nuts seeing my mess in the kitchen from the living room when I’m just trying to chill!🤣🤣

@@sandysmom100 Who knew that the open concept wasn't loved by all? I used to watch Fixer Upper when it first was on HGTV until I realized the Joanna and Chip knocked down walls and all of her designs looked alike. Neutral, no color, no character.
I do too, i especially like different places to go and little nooks and crannies. Each room exudes a different style. To each her own.
She did an amazing job with all the color and wallpaper and art. Pretty genius actually!

I was surprised she would give up a covered porch in the South for another bedroom. There’s nothing like a southern porch!
I absolutely love this home!! The art, wallpaper, all the unique items just make this home so visually pleasing and interesting. I actually really love that the kitchen is not huge.
I had to snicker that she mentioned about downsizing in the beginning but then mentioned about making a porch a bedroom and knocking out a wall to make the kitchen larger. I understand where’s she’s coming from but my family would be fine in the square footage of that home. It’s all subjective.
Perfection. Very few American homeowners are skilled at mixing old and new. Gregg knows exactly what to do and has a great eye for interior design and art. Best home I have seen on Homeworthy!!👏👏👏

with all of the colors and patterns the home is not overwhelming, it is curated to perfection!

Exquisite home.
I loved this home tour and the homeowner. Everything felt genuine and true to her, not something she felt she "should" have in her home. What impressed me the most was how she was able to make it feel so lived in and decorated in the same amount of time that I have lived in my home, and I am nowhere near where she is in terms of renovations, window treatments, etc.!! Beautiful and impressive.
Her kitchen is a perfect size, no idea why she feels the need to make it bigger! She keeps saying it is a small house, there is no storage, and yet this house looks huge to me. How much is too much? Don't know, but I do admire her use of color.
Can't believe all these different colors and patterns and all the stuff work so well together. But I must add that beautiful kitchen is big enough for anyone.

Love, love...all the color and wallpaper. It takes a lot sometimes to make a house a home and I feel this home owner has achieved this with childhood memories of items from parents and grandparents. Not entirely the style I gravitate to but this is hands down one of the best homes that I have ever seen Homeworthy feature. A very talented woman and artist in her own right.
I love how each room has its own look. Makes me feel like my Victorian home (divided rooms) can serve up many different moments. I love Gregg's attention to detail and colour combinations.
This women is very passionate about her home. She has been so busy wallpapering and filling her home with so much treasures object. I love her house. It is a labour of love.

Life is not fair.... I work for all my life, 33 now, no family, no partner, no good community or friends, living in a shit hole even tho I have multiple degrees... I tried so hard, all my glow ups and education, for what? Just for watching others live their lives fully and me standing on the side lines alone.. She has room after room after room stuffed with detailed nice fabrics and furniture and she has a beautiful family. I only have a chronic illness and a tray with patterned origami paper.
Stop putting yourself down that’s number one and get out there and mingle more little bit and probably find someone to spend time with stop selling your self short just because she has all this does not mean she’s happy money does not buy happiness and remember some people are homeless don’t have even a shit hole to call home to so remember the little things because it could be worse. happy thanksgiving

This is my most favorite home ever, ever, ever!!!!!!!!!!! The design style is exactly what I want to have in my future home. I love every detail and the sophisticated use of color. As a resident of Atlanta myself, I always loved this style of home and aspire to have a home just like it. The art collection is magnificent. My Aunt + grandmother have similar design styles and I always felt like royalty in their homes. Love everything about this.

I love color, wallpaper and art. My own words echo hers. I have art on my walls; art I created with acrylics I painted. I also have quilts I made years ago. I have wallpaper around my house also with color and patterns I like. It's different designs and color from room to room. I'm in the process of looking at paper for the foyer for a pop of color and to separate the space from the living area. She did great with her foyer that is about the size of mine. Hope mine turns out as well. Good job!

What a cozy and beautiful home. I love all the fabrics, trinkets, and art work that she has used. I think that I would be in the backyard all the time; it's so serene. As particular about her artwork that she is, I am surprised that she has not installed one of the slim television sets that look like artwork? 🤔

This home is beautifully done up. I love all the color and the fact that she was not afraid to paint the trim in each room a different color. I could not afford as much as a lamp shade in this house but I love seeing all the beauty others have.
