TIGNES GLACIER SUMMER SKIING OPENING 2023 TIGNES VLOG 4K

On only the opening day of the 2023 summer season on the Tignes glacier. What a difference a year makes. Helped by a cooler May and June the quality of the snow is some of the best I've ever seen in the summer. The glacier will stay open until 23rd July 2023.

Maybe about 6 degrees. Perfect to ski without a hat or in shorts

Great looking skiing Alex. Looks better than when we were in Courchevel at the end of Feb. We're coming to Courchevel for a week in mid July to catch a stage of the Tour de France - I think we'll pop over to Tignes for a day or two based on your video!
One question...we have boots but do you know if Ski hire is open in the summer in Tignes?

There are several ski hire shops in Val Claret however the glacier closes on the 23rd July so you are cutting it fine.

have tignes built a snowpark this season, they did a few summers ago but have not from what ive been told.

Not that i saw. The glacier has also lost 2 drag lifts after last year.
