Hey everyone! Join me as I watch Jurassic World for the first time today! This Movie was actually incredible given that it is the 4th on in the franchise! Jurassic World brings back that feeling of adventure while also bringing some terror into it when they create the Indominus Rex!
Located off the coast of Costa Rica, the Jurassic World luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinos to run amok. Now, it's up to a former military man and animal expert (Chris Pratt) to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.

One of my favourite things about Jurassic World is that we still have the same T Rex (Rexy) from Jurassic Park in these films, it's a nostalgic trip I always love to see. I'm also super hyped to see Jurassic World Dominion when it's released, are you excited for the Dominion Cody?

You can even see the scars front the raptor attack and she’s even missing a tooth from an accident were the kids pushed the animatronics tooth out
Also can we also acknowledge the fact that many people hate on the "world" sequels as supposed to the "park" sequels but ironically, the "world" sequels follow more of the source material of the original books rather than the park ones lmao. I know there are problems with the world sequels, yes fallen kingdom was kinda bad but I still respect the fact that collin is adopting more original source materials for his movies.

Fun fact: In the Jurassic Park: The Lost World book, a Carnotaurus appears which was created from a Chameleon so it can camouflage itself with the environment. This inspired one of the Indominus Rex's abilities.
Still one of my favorite parts about this movie: the homages of the original books.

Seeing a new Jurassic film after a fourteen-year hiatus was a total breath of fresh air for me and Jurassic World was well worth the wait! The new cast of characters especially, Chris Pratt as Owen was very nice and the dinosaurs are amazing as ever, especially with today’s developed CGI, not to mention animatronics still being used for the films.
The Indominus Rex is a total beast, absolutely terrifying but cool at the same time! Not bad for a hybrid. Also, the new Velociraptor characters, specifically Blue are great. The final sequence when Rexy and Blue were double teaming the I. Rex was spectacular, even that surprise finishing blow from the Mosasaurus caught me off guard!😅
Jurassic World was so refreshing that it has re-ignited my love for the franchise after so long. Arguably my favorite in the Jurassic film franchise by far! Really looking forward to the Fallen Kingdom reaction too.😁

So glad to see you enjoy this film! I worked as a background extra in this movie, and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life! Filming the pterosaur attack was a blast. We were running all kind of directions and colliding with each other. It was pretty dangerous. I ended up with a scraped knee and I know of someone else who broke a leg haha Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard were so sweet. Very kind, humble, and down to earth people. I spoke with Bryce a good half hour when we were filming the visitor's center scene at the beginning as we were positioned next to each other and had a lot of time while waiting between takes. She actually autographed a DVD I own of The Help, another movie that she is in that is one of my favorites. Awesome person

22:45 Fun Fact: I believe that's a Dimorphodon, which was a real pterosaur from the Jurassic period. The movie model looks a bit off, as the real Dimorphodon had more of a puffin shaped head than the full-therapod look the film did

I remember as a little kid, I kept hearing rumors of a Jurassic Park 4 being in production. I was starting to think this movie would never come out. When this film finally did come out, it was super satisfying to see it in theaters. All those years waiting and this film paid off! Jurassic World was one of the best movie theater experiences I ever had!! Im happy you got to enjoy this one!

This is my favorite of the "Jurassic World" movies. So far! I'm really looking forward to seeing "Jurassic World: Dominion" later this year. Seeing the original 3: Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neil, and Laura Dern back is going to be amazing.

Lmao I remember going to see this movie in the cinema and when the mososaurus jumped up out of the water I whispered to my friend "It's a leopleurodon Charlie!" (referencing Charlie the unicorn) and then shortly after one of the raptors turned out to be called Charlie so me and my friend were just dying laughing 😂😂
Also, the second type of flying dinosaurs are called Dimorphodons. They do look so weird like someone put a T-Rex head on a pterodactyl. Like something Sid from Toy story would do 😂😂

I remembered watching Jurassic World back at the theater in 2015 and it was one of the best dinosaur movies I have ever watched. The reason I like it so much is because it has perfect storyline, awesome open world, brilliant callbacks to the Jurassic Park movies, and, most of all, incredible cinematic dinosaur fights scenes. Cannot wait to see you watch Fallen Kingdom 😁
The small flying dinosaurs are dimorphodons. They really existed back in the day.

For example, Claire’s nephews? They’re not just a nod to original kids Lex and Tim, but how they handled such intense situations makes them their worthy successors.
It took them 15 years to make this movie happen!
It made $1.6 billion dollars at the box office against a $150 million dollar budget, making the highest grossing movie in the Jurassic Park Series and the second Highest grossing movie of 2015.
It received mostly positive reviews by Critics, saying "Even though this film doesn't capture the awe or imagination of the original Jurassic Park, it does give us what we always wanted: the ultimate summer thrill ride."
I remember my mother taking me and my younger brother to see this in theatres. Throughout the film my mother got really jump scared when the Indominus Rex appears.

One of my favorite scenes from the tag team was when Blue went right for the Indominus’ eyes/face. Her and Rexy working together to bring it down was fantastic!
Something I noticed first time I saw the movie and I've never seen anyone else mention is how at one point during the fight Blue jumps off the Indominus and onto Rexy's back and waits for a moment, then jumps back onto the Indominus.

19:19 I remember seeing an official chart for the I-Rex's makeup, and if I remember right it's a mix of T-Rex, Giganotosaurus, Carnotaurus (where the camouflage ability comes from) , cuttlefish, and the other thing that's a spoiler at this point in the movie.

I've loved the fact that unlike Jurassic Park, the park is now OPEN and host to tons of visitors. They make the park look... real! Like Disney World on steroids and you could really go there. Great reaction! I like Fallen Kingdom and the direction it takes the franchises.... Go in with an open mind and make up your own opinion and don't listen to me or anyone else. Like or dislike on your own accord (which I know you'll do!). :o)

From what I’ve heard IRex is made of Trex as the base with Velociraptor, Carnotaurus, Giganotosaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops (these ones are fairly similar to each other), Therizinosaurus, and Deinosuchus. They are also spliced with cuttlefish, a type of tree frog, pit vipers, etc. I could be wrong and I’m sure I missed some because IRex is a mess and a half to say the least 😅
Yeah, the genetic modifications on the Indominus Rex is very messy. She did look pretty cool though.

Casting Chris Pratt as Velociraptor tamer Owen Grady is an awesome addition in this Jurassic Park universe! Can’t resist the iconic move he made to tame them.
Claire on the other hand, she went into Hilly Holbrook-mode with her ideas of making the park keep to the status quo rather than caring about the health and safety of both the guests and employees. Owen is all about survival instinct at least!
Fun Fact: Jake Johnson did the voice Peter B Parker in the Spider-Man into Spider-Verse.

Once you have watched "Fallen Kingdom" don't forget the short movie "Battle at Big Rock".
It is an official part of the franchise and honestly speaking it is an extremely good entry.
So it would be a shame to miss out on it.
As for "Fallen Kingdom" I think the main reason why it wasn't as well received as the other movies is that we got teased with a partocular setting and scenario in the trailers while the movie actually went in a completely different direction.
It's not bad though. I think I like it about as much as "Jurassic World". And out of the two it does have the better "villain dinosaur" in my opinion.
As for why I think so I may comment on it once you have actually watched it as I do not want to spoil anything.
That scene were they were at the old park when I was in the theatre watching the film I felt so nostalgic I had trouble to not be hyper lol.

Me again! Been enjoying the reactions of the franchise, even if I'm over a year late. The creature in the Pterosaur attack scene that you thought was another hybrid is actually a Pterosaur (Pterosaurs aren't actually dinosaurs, they are flying reptiles that were alive during the rule of the dinosaurs) called Dimorphodon. It lived in the early Jurassic period in the forests of Europe and central America (around Mexico).
The indominus was made of not only trex and raptor dna, but it was also made of giga dna for its size, tree frog dna to hide from thermal imaging, cuddlefish genes for its rapid growth rate, and camouflage, therizenosaurus dna for its claws, and abelidsaurus dna for its armored plating, and all that is how you make a monster rather than a dinosaur.
Archaeornithomimus was an ornithomimosaurian theropod dinosaur that lived in Asia during the Late Cretaceous period, around 96 million years ago in the Iren Dabasu Formation. ^_^
Great movie. I can watch it all times, never gets boring. The fact that most people don't like this movie is because all the dinosaurs are animated. In the first three ones they used animatronics for the dinosaurs. So lots of people complained about that. I think fallen kingdom used animatronics again ^^
The one thing I'll say about fallen kingdom is that it's really a love letter to the original novel's that Jurassic Park was based off and I personally really enjoy it

I'm glad you loved it, and it's also my favorite Jurassic film in the franchise too as it does focus more on the themes of man playing God, greed, and hubris that haters didn't understand, especially the characters, ideas, and scenes. And fun fact: the gun Owen has was a Marlin Model 1895SBL, designed to kill a fully grown bison with one shot, and even can kill a fully grown T-Rex, but not against a hybrid designed as a weapon. Also, the pterosaur with a theropod head? That's a Dimorphodon, and it's a real animal.

The flying ones with teeth are called dimorphodons and that’s pretty much how they look. Also the T-Rex, Rexy is the same one from the first movie.
Animals used to create the Indominus Rex: T-Rex, Velociraptor, Carnotaurus, Gigantosaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops, Deinosuchus, Viavenator, Pycnonemosaurus, Quilmesaurus and Therizinosaurus. All of these dinosaurs are carnivorous except for the Therizinosaurus, which is an herbivore with long claws it uses for defense, other animals included are Pit Viper, as seen with its extended mouth and eyes and Cuttlefish as stated in the movie.

I love this movie, and I love the soundtracks! Michael Giacchino took over the music for the JW films, and his titles are playful, such as "Gyrosphere of Influence" and "Indominus Wrecks." My favorite titles are from the next movie, but they have spoilers and thus do not belong here.

Fallen Kingdom is just a great dino action movie. It's missing some of the depth and character personality that JP1 and JW have, but I still really enjoyed it. If a friend invited me over and said "Let's have pizza and watch Fallen Kingdom" I'd totally be down for that.

Being a keeper myself I can say they nailed the relationship between keepers and dangerous animals. The restraint muzzles made me uncomfortable cuz training is a positive experience for keeper and creature and is optional for the animals to take part in but it's a movie lol
Lot of people thought the dimorphodon was a hybrid to but it actually was a real animal (accuracy wise it's not my place to say)
One more thing. The third eyelid is a nictating membrane that some a lot of animals actually have but not many have it act as a full eyelid, if you've ever seen a crocodile blink that's the best way to show it off

This is the first movie of the Jurassic Park series that I watched! And the first movie that got me into and discovered Chris Pratt! He became my first celeberity crush after this movie! I was 12 when this came out in theaters and it also made me a fan of Blue!

“What the heck is that thing? Did they make an altered one too for that?” That’s a dimorphodon. There are multiple types of pterosaurs. This one wasn’t altered beyond what it was to begin with. The only genetic hybrid here is the Indominous Rex.

I found out they were considered doing a live action JURASSIC WORLD TV series, but it has been put on hold, as producer Frank Marshall said in an interview that it might take them 5 years to make it happen, but they're happy with what they have.

I just suscribed Yesterday to your channel, i really love your reactions, about your question, The Little Flyers, those are a Dimorphodons, the name mean "two-shape teeth" i think they were middle Jurassic species, but they look quite different to their real counterpart, as all of Jurassic park/World Dinosaurs, for example, Dimorphodon was just a Little Smaller that these one on the movie, and it's tooth was a Little More rounded Yet Sharp, aswell it was asmost completely feather covered, or rather proto-pheaters

The Indominus genome was mainly velociraptor and tyranosaurus, but it also had Allosaurus, ceratosaurus,carnotaurus... also it could camoflage thanks to cuttlefish DNA parts and hide her temperature with Tree frog DNA.
The claws are due to Therizinosaurus genome... She was design, like Dr.Wu said, but some features were a surprise... for example the DNA from cuttlefish was supposed to help her grow faster but it also developt that camoflage...
Even more to the cake, she had giganotosaurus DNA, its theropod bigger than a rex so she wasnt even fully grow...
This film for me was top, its refreshing, and represents the arrogance of men and how we play god with literally everything. Also the CGI is on top because they used practical effects, but not just puppets and fancy costumes, they added bird like behavior to the raptors mostly but also to almost every dino... Blue, Delta, Charlie and Echoo were actually four guys with white raptor head on top, its funny to see how they did it, the videos are on youtube if someone wants to have fun
Some fun facts: The guy who went back for the margaritas was Jimmy Buffet and the T-Rex is the original T-Rex from Jurassic Park recaptured - she even has the scars from the raptors!
