This brings back some memories!
wow! thanks for uploading this. grateful that you posted this video.
Drove down from Brisbane for this. Went to Primal Scream that night, then drove out to this and partied while the sun came up. Good fucking times!
Makes me smile every time I watch this.. @Ming D.. climbing up and over the decks hanging on the scaffolding...etc... thanks to Gavin, Snr Perez, HJ, Abel, Alex.. well done :)
Naj at 2.38! One of the nicest people I met on the scene. Gave me a lift home from this one.
There was a court case after the bad publicity that occured after this party, The land was hired under the pretense of filming a music video. My dad worked for the company that took the organizers to court, They were part of Pioneer. I was at this party and remember the DJ swinging off the stage, one of the best parties in my life!
Proper old skool sydney rave..
Was there, car parked right up next to everyone dancing ... absolutely next level wasted on killer purple speckled pills ... never to be repeated total freedom and extacy!!! What a time those days were ...
Purple specs were insane!
@@salo7227 white doves were and later the mitsi's too.
I often wondered why they never pointed the stage and sound system directly out to sea. The way it was oriented, those beats would have carried for miles all the way across the water to Bombo Beach and Kiama - which is what possibly pissed off the locals and ended up with the heavy cop, shut down vibe. I was in no state to drive back to Sydney that morning, but we all did. We all know some never made it. An amazing, 'landmark' rave of the era. If only we had mobile phone cameras then...
It was because of the rain the night before.. made it impossible.. so..
Shit I don’t remember a Ferris wheel being there 😂
Haha - I was thinking the same thing! Absolutely no memory of the ferris wheel :)
Awesome at 1:48:10 Egyptian horn track followed by Cj Bolland's Horsepower....magic
Kids check how much better the drugs were back then.
Great party, great location at Bass Point near Shellharbour. Saw the sunrise over the sea. The downer was a dud e and mate dying in car crash on the way home. Raving ended up on the front pages the following Monday due to a couple of fatal car crashes on the Sunday afterward.
That is because the cops made everyone leave. No one was meant to go home straight away.
I remember that.
They should’ve let us stay, until we were right to drive.
1:23:00 5,4,3,2,1 Jump !
Track 20 mins in so much joy? There mught be 3 tracks baggin around there.

That guy in the aviator sunglasses at 1:06:05 , gee I wonder why he's clenching his jaw so hard,? 😂😂
Can anyone tell me what the name of the track is 1.45 before Eqyptian Horn and CJ Bolland Horsepower this rave was legendary and Abel and Ming were in a league of their own with the music they played back then at raves. Also at 104.50 this piano anthem that Ming had rolling out.......use your fantasy but I have no idea the actual name of the track or the artist.

title of this track please? 58:46
Ask DJ Ming D :)
cops wrecked this one. Same as many others, remember at psychosis in Alexandria cops were 4 deep at the entrance and following people to their cars, searching everyone, people were running from them, they had a base of sorts in the Maccas carpark up the road. It was chaos that they caused.
Happy Valley 1 set the bar really.
This was the beginning on big police crackdowns, a girl crashed and died on the drive home...coming down of course :(
Does anyone know the song at 1:28:56 - 1:29:50 ? It's sick!
Found it. “Hurt You So” (specifically the ‘L’ mix) by Johnny L. Epic.
