Props to the neighbor trying to fight the storm. "You will Not Take my driveway and car!"
You can only fight for so long.
I'd be more worried about my roof
I’d build a snowman😂
If ur home it's so much easier doing that then when it's deeper than the ht of the blower 😂
gotta be a 40 year old dad with 3 kids in the house trying to get away
where once two cars , now snowy lumps in the lovely flakes
Lovely but deadly
@@Wee162yo this comment was made on the very start of 2024? (I still can’t believe it’s been 2024 for almost 2 weeks already)
That's super pretty! Snow always looks so pure and white.
Thank you D! This storm was crazy, 77" of snow in just over 2 days!
Yeah, as long as you don't have to clear it.
@@joelstein4657 Do you drive a snowplow? Cause if you do then I can understand not enjoying snow that much.
Tell that to the familes of the people who died because of this storm...Also to the parents of the teenager found frozen to death when a snow plow was clearing the roads
@@ifyouranushadaface9460 Jesus, why did you have to make this so dark? What's wrong with you? You're twisted
I've lived in Northern Illinois my whole life, the most I've seen in 1 storm was around 2 feet, so hats off to those out around Buffalo. Those that live around the Great Lakes are a hearty stock.
Was that in 2011 or around that time?
He was born in 2015.
As a resident of Southern Arizona, weather like this is nearly impossible to comprehend.
As someone who lives in Alabama, I agree with your statement.
TBH as someone living in Scotland that's something we really only see in the mountains, and then only when it drifts. We're at 450ft and the most we've had recently was 2ft overnight in the winter of 2017.
This is snow-belts only thanks to those Great Lakes. Most I've seen just outside the belts in Ohio and Indiana was from a different type of storm. 15 inches.
This is probably unique to Buffalo lol. Unless you're in the mountains. It's unheard of to me too
I can't comprehend NOT having snow during winter. I mean heck, then that basically isn't winter
Yup, Vegas hasn’t snowed this year. Last year I’m not sure if I saw any stuck snow but the two years before that there was a patch of snow in my backyard😂
We do get icy pools sometimes just the top cm years ago it was a couple inches. But not often that happens.
This is beautiful. I love the snow, thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed Debbie!
crazy how when its snowing hard day and night is kinda the same almost d this effect is increasingly visible in cities. very pleasant feeling.
Reflection of light by snow and our beloved light pollution
I grew up in Montreal and watching this made me nostalgic although I don't remember getting this much snow even there ... maybe once around 1970.
Wow! Thank you for sharing the post. Stay safe and healthy out there, everyone
People in Buffalo are troopers. Id still like to see you guys get to host a Superbowl. 😂
I'm really enjoying your videos. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much Rj!
@@BuffaloWeather1which area do you live to get this much snow
@@urbanarchitect74 I'm thinking Buffalo, NY
Thank you for this wonderful snow movie, I like the atmosphere and also the piano music. Perfect for me. Greetings from Stuttgart, Germany.
❤
Beautiful! Thanks for the video.
Incredible !! In central southern UK we rarely get snow, but when we do we seem to grind to a halt.
Awesome time laps!
I love snow ❤❄️!
❤
Snow is so beautiful and peaceful, but 6ft - YIKES
77" in just over 2 days!
Gotta love this beautiful snow storm.
Love it. Send some our way 🙏
I live in Metro Detroit But this is truly terrifying. See you in the spring.
Neighbor is smart... out there regularly snow blowing before it gets too high.
I WANT SO MANY SNOW TOO!
It’s coming soon!
I needed this video right now😢
I’m in southern Ontario and we’ve hardly had any snow this year. It’s been wet and rainy when it should be snowing. I miss it. I miss bundling up and shovelling my driveway, waving to my neighbours while they shovel theirs. I miss tobogganing and snowball fights with friends. I miss snow days off school, when you can stay inside and play video games. I miss curling up by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate. I miss snowboarding and skiing on real snow, instead of fake, pebbly ice.
Bring my Canadian winter back❄️☃️🌨️🏂⛷️☕️
I agree As well I also Miss those Days I want right now. When I there was 2 Snow days it’s School day for Exam Week. This is Awful.
It will come back. I had my first snow day since 2021 this winter, well actually 2 and I’m in NJ.
when children wake up in the morning they are gonna be so happy.
Snow day!
Wow. That is no joke
Viewed from Singapore, this is amazing!
wow! beautiful
Truth be told. Snowstorms in Buffalo are no joke. I got a friend in suburban Buffalo and the only reason I would visit her in the weather is because she is a nice person. I would love to cuddle with her too because she is a beautiful human being and she is plus sized. More pusion for the cushion.
Now it’s time for a 6 ft of snow melting time lapse! lol great vid
So satisfying just to see the snow rising
I like your video
Thanks nick!
Wow❤
So nice, and in Hamburg Germany we have never snow.
I grew up there. In South Carolina now. I DON'T miss it!
Did you bring your poisonous Democrat vote with you?
Some people just aren’t cut out for the cold. Others aren’t good with the heat
Looks awesome, here in the UK we just get damp wet mild winters, really miss it snowing here, although bet it's pretty tough living with that sort of weather regularly.
My husband is from the UK (East Grinstead), and he agrees.
hailing from the north east of Scotland Currently Snowing
That's a Strong Snowy Day!
Magnificent, powerful, beautiful but scary video..!
Thank mother nature for the sun and its glorious heat! 😉
I love snow
That is a lot of snow alright 😲😳☺️ Beautiful ❤❤❤
What an awesome Christmas this was! Seriously amazing and beautiful
Man, i need to move to new york, i love snow
This was basically the exact same amount, on almost the exact same days, and in the exact same towns as the 2014 storm, which I was there for. Hamburg, OP, WS and Blasdell always leading the way lmao.
November 2014 was a crazy storm! I have quite a few videos on my CZcams of that storm if you scroll back a few yrs
THAT SNOW WOULD DEVOUR ME
My cousin lives in Buffalo and says the winter weather is unbelievable when it comes in. Especially for a brit from the south east of England where we get a proper snowfall every 3 or 4 years that might bring around 6 inches of snow.😂😂
Next door neighbor finally gave up snowblowing. That is indeed a lot of snow.
I waited until the storm was over to snowblow, it was virtually impossible to keep up!
Like he was going somewhere in the morning. 😂
I'm in South Dakota and we got quite a bit of snow last year too! Only a bit over 2 feet, but it was enough for my workplace to be like "Yeah actually we have enough people working at home, we will have mercy on you" and called two snow days. Took me about an hour and a half to dig out my car with a rather insufficient shovel. We generally don't keep big shovels here in the apts but maybe I should...
I used to live in Sioux Falls. When I moved there in Januiary 1997, someone told me that the snow on the ground was the same snow that had been there since the previous October :D I could NOT believe that because I'm from Kentucky. In 1999 I think we had a "thundersnow" there that dumped about a foot of snow. I then moved to Massachusetts and experienced TWO FEET of snow Christmas eve my first year there. The most snow I've ever experienced, believe it or not, was right here in Kentucky in 1994 when my town got 32+ inches.
The fact that this guy has an entire channel dedicated to the weather in Buffalo is just funny😂
Legend has it, the bushes were never seen again.
I lost 2 bushes during this storm. 😥
excellent 100%
how much time lapsed in this time lapse video?
God I'm so happy I don't live in upstate NY anymore. Beautiful area, lovely snow, until you have to drive in it.
Wow!!
Dude I would be in HEAVEN if this happened to me
I would WANT 1-2 foot snow ❄️ at my place!!!!!!
Aaaah, nothing like the swedish summer.
In a Charlie Brown comic, Lucy says: “if grass and flowers come up from the ground, then so does snow!” I think that this Timelapse proves this.
i watched this from south carolina where i have lived for the past 28 years, the most snow i have seen in that time is 3 inches and it was gone when the sun rose, i use to live in mass and alaska
Yeah we get some crazy snowstorms here!
Wow
I’ve lived in Texas all my life and the most I’ve probably seen is 4 inches. I’ve had so many childhood dreams of playing in that deep of snow, building igloos or tunnels, or just having a snowball fight.
In Georgia (state) we wish we got snow like that😢…
We get just a little once every two to four years😢😢
Got to love beetle weather 😂😊👍
That guy on the left was the fastest snow shoveller I have ever seen.
Wow!!!!
I live in Northern Michigan, when it starts snowing like this, everyone jumps in their winter beater with a heater 4X4 and go play in it!!😂😂😂😂
That’s how it should be!
I am thankful every day that I live in the South (except for tornadoes).
Yeah I'll shovel snow instead of boarding up my windows
insane!
FEET???!!!❤❄️
This is very theraputic
This is my favorite!!! The editing with the drone is amazing...again I like the vibe it gives off.
What?
It might have been a mounted camera
@@wilsonwayne4395 Yeah. Obviously.
@@mikeymcmikeface5599 Nest- top right in the frame throughout the video.
Hey Mark this was a mounted cam via nest. I have some drone video on my channel, but on other videos.
I wish Kentucky had that much
Wow. I couldn’t do it, I’ll take my few inches of snow that melts a day or two later. Y’all have my respect dealing with that.
It certainly wasn’t a small task keeping up!
we would need this much snow in Austria
You guys get quite a bit in the mountains there?
yes in our Mountains we have a lot of snow. But today it also is snowing in our town next to Vienna. 😊
I wish Texas could handle this much snow. (Coughs virgiously looking back at the 2021 snow storm)
The windmills did it.
Sweet
Thanks ❤️
I love it. But it's not 6 ft. Id say the drifts are but not the snowfall... That said, either way! It's awesome. Thanks
And just remember the mailman is out there trudging through six feet of snow to deliver you ads about your town.
6 feet of snow, coming through my radio (RIP LG)
I’m moving to Buffalo New York
*Great Lakes Erie and Ontario because of their length (241 miles and 193 miles long respectively) are the greatest snow machines in the world!*
I live in San Diego and one time we got 6 feet of sunshine in a single day.
Boring as hell living in day after day after day same weather, 365 days a year, don't care what you say.
You got a hurricane this year. That's pretty different.
Pretty cool. Y'all can keep it though. I hope I never encounter snow ever again irl lol.
Major shout out to the neighbor tryin to keep his drive clear. I do that too, but I’m an on call field service tech, I have to be able to leave at a moments notice, which is why I drive a 4x4 and do the same thing as that man, go out and clear it once it hits about a foot.
Once it gets to 2ft no point, the road won't be clear for you to drive any further than your drive.
Can this flood my recommended, please? This is so interesting lol
That is a lot of snow!
We got 6 inches or so over the course of a week before it got warm enough to properly melt.
It's not completely gone in places where it was piled up by people clearing roads, sidewalks and parking lots.
We usually don't get so much at once and it definitely don't stay that long normally either. It was awesome even if it was slippery as fuck. 😂
Too short, especially with that awesome piano piece. How did you do with the storm that hit Buffalo area on 12/22 around Christmas? Buff got 77 inches
Next time I'll do a longer one! We had 55" during that one.
My boss be like, "hey you can still come into work right?"
I feel their pain.
Didn't want to skip video until them 2 cars were covered fully with snow
FYI, i was in rochester at the time which is just barely east of buffalo. We got like 2 inches of snow from the same storm system
Wow! Love Snow but sure would hate to clear it out and dig out my car!
that's insane
So lucky
Boss be like. You’re still coming in right
that's gorgeous, but surely 6 feet would be over the roofs of the vehicles right ;)
And this is how Antarctica became a continent
Snow is a 4 letter word!
I live in Wisconsin we get snow to. But I think they might wear out snow shovels, over there in Buffalo New York.
How wide are these snow bands? I know they can be quite isolated and narrow. Just curious.
Hey Mich! It really depends on the event. I'd say they average 15-20 miles. Sometimes you get really thin 5-10 mile bands, and other times 30-40 miles wide. It depends on the wind speeds, moisture available, lake temps, and wind direction up to 5-10k feet.
I’d sure want that
I need snow like this in my life
Maybe this winter?!?
You can have it, FREE
when you get snow for 5 months of the year you forget what grass used to look like. To see leaves on trees. The bugs of summer
I got 78'' in Niagara Falls
