I imagine that in a future where the cure to oripathy is soon to be released and the enemies of Rhodes Island and the world are completely defeated the Doctor is already dying and is getting flashbacks of every operator he has met. Maybe he is surrounded by those he cherish and maybe not, but at the end I can hear the Doctor saying this line: "The Future....is all in your hands now."
If the Doctor does something heroic near the end and dies because of it, at his last moments, this is going to play in my head and I will fucking bawl my eyes out.
After I beat the game, and the stories end, if something like this is played in the end screen, I will fucking cry. I actually almost shed a tear just imagining. Or Doctor dies right before Oripathy is cured and this is his final thoughts...
