  • Is the ecoflow river 2 max a good solution for busking musicians? How well does it perform with a full PA system, stage monitors, mixing console etc. Find out in this video!
I'm a musician who often plays at weddings, on the street (busking) and other gigs. There is not always a reliable power source nearby or at a convenient location. That is why I tested this portable electric power station to see if I could do a full band setup without being powered from the grid.
Song in the video is a song written and produced by me, it's not available on any streaming services yet.

Super valuable information. Thanks for making this. I am an aspiring musician and would like to start playing in public spaces. So i was looking to get a rough idea on how long such power stations deliver. You just solved it for me. Thanks again !!

Hello. Thanks. Exactly what i was looking for !! Now i know i Can power a drum machine and a guitar amplifier and 2 effect pédals with only the river mini for 2 hours if i made the correct calcul !!! Thanks again and have a good life, with great music

Little update: I did a little test with my Fender Bassbreaker 15 combo tube amplifier. The amp drew a consistent 60 watt at various volumes. The ecoflow indicated that it could run for about 6 hours with only the tube amplifier connected.

Excellent, your video is better than most reviews I ever saw. Kudos. You should get into reviewing as an extra source of income.

Can someone orient me with this? I saw a video of a guy plugging in a phone, a tablet and an air dryer and the battery shut him down but here this guy plugs in a whole musical set up? I'm considering the option of this battery for busking myself (mixer plus pedal board set plus small amp) but can't seem to understand how this works....

Very useful, thanks! Please do a test with tube guitar and bass amps included and see how long you can play at full sound level.

You don't know how desperately I was looking for such a video. Thanks a ton, man. I want to power two 200watt rms speakers (jbl irx 108 bt). Do you think the smaller ecflow river 2 256wh will work for me? I want backup for around 3hrs.

  • @miroslav8817

This is very interesting . Every of those speaker probably have power consumption about 200- 450 wats. Have you try to play music on the high level about 1 hour so you can see does the drawing get higher?

Hi Toon! Very interesting video. I’ve a question for you. I will play at a wedding party in a park and I need something like this. My setting will be a keyboard, two amplifiers and two microphones. Do you think is enough this power station you show in your video? I’ve seen there’s also a cheaper version (Ecoflow 2), is it enough? Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏🏻

Hey it was good review may i have question?

  • @troygawley6072

Hi man, great video, really helpful. Just went and picked up the EcoFlow River Max 2 and am having some weird grounding issues with my guitars, just wondering if you experienced this. I've tried with both acoustic and electric guitars and put them into my Boss Katana and Roland Cube street. The issue is the same on all. When I plug them into the mains everything works and sounds crystal clear so it's some sort of grounding issue? It's relieved by touching the strings.
