Wow you are busy. I'm tired just watching all those projects..I was hoping the coop was done..I have been wondering about you, glad your well and making your homestead just BEAUTIFUL 😍
Great to see the updates Becky! Everything is looking wonderful!! Abby updates on Scott's place? Would love to see how's that going house is going too! Have a great day. 😁
Thanks for the update Becky! Everything looks so lush and pretty and love seeing the animals especially the one ones at the very end with that fantastic energy.
I’m so glad to see someone work on different projects at different times. Some people want to work on a project until it’s done and then start another. I can’t always do that. I’m working on my fall garden and building a chicken run and I have baby birds. I have plans to make a dress from a new pattern and I want to make Bible covers and Bible bags to sell. If I get stuck on a project, then I jump to something else until I can figure it out. Sometimes the answers to problems come to me in dreams.
Omgosh Becky lol- I’m so glad we’re kindred spirits …! I’m so like you … I go out to my homestead, and of course take care of the important stuff first , but… I work on whatever floats my boat at the time lol - I’ve got a few projects I’m working on simultaneously ! Have you considered putting in an orchard? Something small with multi grafts on each tree to spread harvests out? I have small farm in SE Kansas I have grafted Cado pecan to native pecan. I am also going to graft multi varieties of plums apples and such to some trees i have established. Grafting varieties that will have different harvest times and different uses so i am not loaded down with a bunch needing harvested all at once.
we just picked up some new baby chicks to add to our flock. current flock assists of six white leghorns we had several more than that but we had to give half away due to getting way too many eggs. leghorns are about 4 years old now and they've actually slowed down on the laying of the eggs so we decided to get some new chicks. I'm going to be introducing these new chickens to a 4-year-old flock will probably wait till they're at least 6 to 8 weeks old before even attempted so this should be fun. hoping it goes smoothly because the pecking order is well established in the old flock.

Yeah Becky, thanks for the update. I love your channel, you caught my attention years ago, and I am a follower. I have learned so much from you. Thank you...keep videos coming
Love your videos and they helped a lot figuring out things. One thing I did after getting our baby chics was to take a wind up toy similar in size to the chics and used it to peak at the food and water and all of them took right to it. Thought I would share a little bitty idea I had.

Hi Becky. It's all coming along very nicely. I am so jealous. Lol I'm stuck in a small apartment. No yard :( I was wondering did your cabin fare well after the move ? Anything break inside ? God Bless :)
Good morning! ☀️☕️ Love to see your updates and new additions. Very cool that you added some meat birds. Can’t wait to see the finished coop, the hens will be over the moon! The dogs at the end made me laugh…I have a feisty chihuahua too. 😂🤣
Great to see the update, and the progress you are making! I do miss seeing the front porch you had at your original location. "Chicken Town II" is looking good! When do you think you'll have it finished? Where is Scott? How is his house coming along?
Looks awesome! I used to have some meat chicks like thoes white ones. If you feed them like regular chickens they grow WAY too fast and become deformed from their own growth. Cant hold themselves up etc. So my grandpa and I figured to feed them lower protein food amd not as much so they grow slow and dont break. Love your channel!
So great to see your projects. I'm getting an addition on my house now so I can have first floor living. Looking forward to living on my property forever!

Becky - I have been watching your site for about twenty years, since starting our own little homestead. We have learned much of what we know from you and Scott. There are so many critters around ( foxes, raccoons and the occasional coyote ) that we have to keep our hens in a run attached to their coop. I noticed today that some of your hens and the guinea are free ranging. Are you not having `critter` problems on your new property ? Do you have barn cats to keep your mice/rat problem down ?
