Whitmer is a coward. Used to admire her, but anyone who took this long to even suggest a neuropsych test is showing us they put career over country.
More than anything, this appeared to be as an introduction to who Gretchen Whitmer is on a national level. Her loyalty to Joe will serve her well when he ultimately decides to step aside. If the torch is not automatically passed to Kamala, then I think Whitmer will be highly considered.
