I don't know if Harry was still playing for West Ham in 1972, but the Hammers returned to Huddersfield in February of that year to play a 5th round FA Cup tie. Huddersfield won 4-2 and Frank was absolutely brilliant in that game. The match was televised, which was quite rare in those days, but I'd love to be able to get hold of a video of the whole game. The best I have been able to find is a 78 second grainy clip on CZcams.

I saw Alan play live only the once but I'm loving this stuff. At 80 it reminds me of a game I once loved. Not so much now sadly. A Tony Currie story. I saw him a few times at Elland Road and he was a brilliant player but in one game he clearly gave up after about 20 minutes. He obviously realised that he was a yard faster in his head than anyone around him at the time and what he did didn't matter !! Which leads me to another Elland Rd game and Alan Ball. Playing Southampton I had a Leeds mad neighbour with me and I made him stop watching the ball but watch Alan Ball organising his team. My friend was astonished what you miss in a game if you don;t know what you are watching. Ball has his winger Roberts on a string waiting for the Go signal. Leeds never picked it !! And lost 1 - 3

He’s Tony Jimenez, friend of Alan’s.
He gets the Zoom chat organised and recorded so Alan and the guests can just worry about chatting.
He also has a couple of subjects written down, incase the conversation dries up, but he hasn’t had to use them yet.
