One of the best demo videos for this machine I've seen, thanks. I just purchased this machine and was absolutely amazed at how much dirt was in the carpet - and I have a decent vacuum with power head for the carpet which I used thoroughly before washing! After cleaning with the Bissell solution, I rinsed it all again just using warm water only and extracted just as much dirt the second time - shocking!
I’m using this model at a friend’s house. Your demo is brilliant! It gives me much more confidence using her machine thanks.

I have this carpet washer and yes I see what you mean by it being very loud especially using the tools it has a loud howl to it but other than the noise level its amazing picks up loads and easy to clean, I recommend this carpet washer and the name of it is: Bissel Proheat revolution x2 pet pro, this carpet washer is a little expensive around £300 but is kind of worth it!

You’re really not kidding about how loud this machine really is!! My friend has one and it has to be over 100db!!!
Oh and get this, his has a shot bearing making it EVEN LOUDER!!!!
I definitely will wear ear defenders next time I help him clean his carpet and unfortunately I learned this the hard way last time. My ears were ringing ALL NIGHT!!!!

I have just bought another one as I sold the model in this video a while ago. I’ve just used it with water only to rinse my living room carpet after shampooing it with another machine and the water was filthy. It does a really good job of extracting the water too.
@@ibaisaic That’s crazy!!! I’m eager to see how dirty the water is after cleaning the carpet in my bedroom where my cat lays all the time. I’ll probably be getting this over the new Shark carpet cleaner as you just can’t beat this kind of performance!!
The Bissell is on offer at the moment. I think it’s been cheapened a bit since I bought my first Revolution, but it works very well.

@@ibaisaic I've watched a lot of your great videos and was wondering if you could tell me if you've had issues with leaking container directly onto electrics in this bissell? I read a lot of reviews mentioning this issue and considering if any VACs carpet washer will be a better option?

Really envy that lovely short nap carpet! I have thick "luxury" plush like yours and I am SO tired of it never really looking perfect because the second you walk on it it shows foot prints and gets smashed down. Hardly my definition of "luxury" ...my Miele brings up the pile and I mash it down. :-( too $$$ to replace. Enjoyed the video as always.

I wish the main brush roller turned off when using the tools.
Yes, unnecessary wear to that part, unfortunately I assume it is directly belted to the vacuum motor 😕
The brushroll is slightly raised when the cleaner is upright, though it could still be brushing the pile on longer pile carpets. I destroyed the cable on my previous version when I didn’t notice I had put the machine on top of it.
I can’t agree with you more and it’s one of if not the only thing that’s keeping me from getting this machine as otherwise it’s perfect. I probably would just have to be careful but I’m more so concerned if someone else in my family tries to use it. I mean we have vacuum cleaners that do the same thing and they’ve never had a problem with them.

Hi, what budget vaccum (below 150) would you recommend for pets? Had a meile compact cat and dog for over ten years and it's just packed up
I get what they were trying to do look now you don't have to pull out another machine just to clean up the hair before you freshen up the upholstery but I just feel like another tool could make that job easier such as the Turbo brush on any vacuum. It just felt like an extra step to me buy that is just my personal opinion I do love the stair attachment though...lol

Last summer my niece ask me if she could borrow it and I said sure, stop of at the trailer and pick it up.....and so she did, along with the two bottles of shampoo and one bottle of pet shampoo,,,,,as well as the Manuel, which is why I have googled you tube...
I called her yesterday to tell her I was receiving visit from Montreal and they would be staying in the trailer, therefore I wished to freshen up the bedroom wall to wall as well as the upholstering of the sofa bed and dining chair seats...
Yesterday I called and left a message on her answering machine that my Brother would be stopping by to pick up my Bissell but I should have remembered how very mean spirited she can be.....the bottom water reservoir is missing, she says she doesn’t know where it is, also if there were attachments,,,,,that she would look when she has time!!!!!

I watched your video hoping you would explain what steps I should take to prime the tube so water will come out of the attachment. Unfortunately, I did not see that issue addressed. Otherwise, thanks for the excellent training video.
You just squeeze the trigger, no priming needed.

I noticed the brushroll continued to rotate when the machine was upright and you were using the cleaning tools. Is the cleaner hear raised off the carpert?
Yes. The brush is raised from the carpet. I have the same machine

It’s only raised slightly. I have both the old version and the newer version. If left on any kind of rug or carpet when you clean your upholstery it continues to spin at full speed at not only makes the machine extremely hot, but eats into the rug as well. This is the one flaw in this cleaner which is also a safety hazard. It makes no sense for the brushes to continuously run if the hose is plugged in.
Be aware that the main brushes still spin when using the upholstery attachment. It may wear a spot in your carpet or floor finish.
On another video I watched a video where you can use a storage tray (for this model) to rest the hoover on that helps you to clean the brushes. You can use it when using the upholstery attachment.
What's the best carpet cleaner in your opinion ? I've been looking at the bissells and the numatic range . If you could have one which would you pick ? Thanks
This one is my pick for most people, but The Bissell Big Green is the best I’ve used so far.

What do you put under the rollers when using the tools to clean furniture so it doesn't hurt the floor?
I imagine you could use a 12x12 tile underneath.

While using the hand tool, the roller brush on the main body of the vacuum is still rolling and the bottom of the machine is becoming heated up. Plus, the suction is not so good. Is there any solution?

This 2qs My exact situation' and i think it should work that way precisely, it generales heat for te water to stay warm and help break down soil best, yes i'll Say that the suction isnt that great, but i Mean, Beter than nothing i Guess

So when cleaning the hose etc after use you fill a bucket with clear water and just suck up a bit at a time? Was not sure exactly how this is supposed to be done.
Just suck a little water up through the hose and let the cleaner run of a few seconds to make sure there is no water left in the hose.
Would it be easier/more efficient to use a spray bottle for the solution to apply it to the surface?
Not really. That’s like asking if it would be easier/more efficient to use a carpet sweeper instead of a vacuum cleaner.

How much solution do you put in for just doing upholstery please , and which one is best solution too ?
I just use the same dilution as for carpets, but I suppose you could use less and still get good results. I only use Bissell solutions in my Bissell machines and they start at around £10 a bottle for a standard solution up to £23 for the Wash & Remove Pro Total for really dirty carpets.

Noise level is loud on a lot of these cleaners, I have the x2 revolution and a spot clean Pro for car and pup spills both way too noisy. I'd imagine the engineering and design to keep them quieter would bump the price out of domestic use

For large areas you don’t use the hose right?
The hose is only used for above floor cleaning and small areas where the big machine can’t go.

Probably, a lot of the tools fit various Bissell models. Check on their website for all the tools available.

I don’t find it heavy but you can make it lighter removing both tanks when carrying upstairs.

Bissell Big Green for carpet, Numatic George for sofas, hard floors and above floor cleaning. There is not one machine in my experience that excels at both.
I used this on my stairs today. Took me over 3 hours! Smh.

why does my brush roller come on when I use the tools?
The brush will continue to rotate when using then tools, but it’s raised off the floor when the machine is upright.
I feel like I have no suction with my Upholstery tool.
How do you stop the brushes from turning in the foot while you use the hand tool?? My carpet landing was destroyed while cleaning the stairs. I need a protector underneath the foot when using hand tool. DON'T BUY THIS MACHINE IF YOU HOPE TO USE HAND TOOL EXTENSIVELY (more than five minutes)

I believe the latest versions don’t but it is available as an optional extra.

It's ear splitting noise because all American vacuum cleaners can be heard for miles. They are not like European
vacuums where if the machine is running you still can hear a pin drop Oh I'm almost sure they could make their machines quiet But that would cost them more.

Ear protection for the carpet cleaner? 🙄
This Bissell is 82 db which is very near the level that can cause hearing loss after prolonged use. I know that if I use this machine without ear protection, my ears will be ringing when the cleaner is switched off, so it is my preference to protect my hearing when using loud appliances or machinery.
As if the machine isn't noisy enough, he has to add annoying music to the demo.
Try using the volume control or mute button.
I don’t do well when manufacturers either give poor instructions/directions, or leave them out completely. In this case, the manufacturer mentioned NOTHING of the Stair Tool, which is unacceptable. I don’t have the energy to be sitting on the phone for hours with someone on the other end, who is also trying to read from the manual.
