There is a woman who sings this as well. She also sings the aria before, and also sings the entire thing with a full orchestra. You should listen to Jane Zhang singing this. Jane has a whistle tone to rival Whitney Houston. Yes, Dimash is an absolutely incredible voice, but I also want people to experience the talent of the oft overlooked Jane Zhang.

I basically never comment or subscribe to reactors but he’s hands down my fave person to watch for Dimash reactions and that’s saying a lot as I have watched quite a lot of them over the years 😅 The attention to detail, the extensive knowledge, soothing voice and accent, and he’s handsome 😏 Sir Hairless is a treat for the eyes, for the ears and the mind. He also did this song on the I Am Singer in 2017 show. It was a combination of the song 'Confessa' ( in Italian ) then he jumps into the Diva Dance .

As much as I love Dimash,to me the original will never be surpassed!The impossible of Diva Dance are not the notes but the transition between them which is superfast and this was the composer's intention.In an interview he says that he never worked with opera singers before and wasn't aware of what they could do.At first he thought that only a portion of the song would be possible for a human singer and Inva Mula surprised him by singing most of it.

I've watched a couple of your Dimash reactions without commenting, because, well, what can you say? I don't even listen to him very often because I don't want to get used to him. Once a month, or maybe six weeks, and then put him away again, quickly, to be sure the total dumbfounded awe is still there when I come back (in April, maybe).

this is a fantastic performance but I honestly believe it pales in comparison to the version with both Dimash and Li Yugang singing Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance. The blend of Chinese opera style(Yugang) and Western opera style (Dimash) is beyond anything. You love comparisons and unusual pairings, I think it would be a match made in heaven for you

More fantastic reactions from Mr 🧑🏼🦲! I actually prefer this version also over the original…just flows much better. Considering it comes from a guy with a 7 octave range, why are are still amazed when he can cover 4 octaves in 10 seconds 😂 In this day and age, I genuinely believe that technically his technique is unmatched. There is an old clip I've seen multiple times of Dimash, when he was quite a bit younger, singing the actual aria as well. I'll see if I can find it on here to share with you.
There are some very old phone vids of Dimash singing "Il dolce suono". All of the video quality is horrible, but you cannot mistake that voice. 😄

I love all of the variations of Diva Dance that Dimash performs. Aside from this one, I hold the 2017 Singer performance of Confessa combined with Diva Dance in esteem. Contrasting yet complimentary, also worth a listen if only on your own time. Honestly, Dimash’s Diva Dance has evolved since, but a lovely combination. Cheers from Canada!
