    Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. Got my 420 chain on and I feel way more secure offroad. I had a rock go through my stock belt in the first couple hundred miles of owning the bike. I mostly offroad gnarly trails so the chain was an important upgrade for me. It is so freaking loud though! I heard a lot of people say it was loud but it is seriously as loud as a motorcycle at certain speeds. Thanks again.

    • @jodypatrizio3044
      @jodypatrizio3044 Před 7 měsíci

      @@blakehegemann It was a bit of work. Nothing too crazy though. I’d say if your decent with mechanical stuff it is definitely doable. Most of it was easy and straight forward but there were a couple tricky parts of the project that just took a little patience and persistence. Getting the swing arm back on was the hardest part for me since I was doing it alone and didn’t have an extra set of hands. I’m decent with mechanical stuff and have a bit of experience but no expert. Hope that helps.

    I'm getting my kit next week so this video is going to be really helpful. Thanks! Do you know the dimensions of the swing arm axel bolt? I'd like to replace it with an allen head bolt.

    The rod used to hold the jackshaft was replaced with a 12" clamp, flexing the swing arm enough to grab the jackshaft.

    I'm at my wits end trying to get the swingarm and intermediate shaft assembly back into the chassis. That special temporary bolt/shaft you made would be a wonderful item to get this done. Any chance you have that for sale? :). Actually, for us in the states, looks like a 3/8" dowel rod will work (9.9mm)

      @SurRonSouth  Před 2 lety

      Yep, it's just a rod. We used metal rod that fit. Not sure if other materials would be suitable as they might break inside.

    Dont take the swingarm off! Just pull the jackshaft out it is much looser than the swingarm and much easier to put in and out.

    Don't know but i think youbhave been loosing the nut for the motor pulli earlier, ornist it just the hammer drill tool?.Man why is it not spinning, you already took the chain off, whats it holding? Cant get the shit back together, gant get the nut loose. Could be so easy to make it loose as a step 1 😭

  • @aulray
    @aulray Před rokem

    How do you remove the nut from the motor pulley? Just keeps spinning for me.

    • @FreeMissions
      @FreeMissions Před rokem

      You got to do that when the chain or the belt is still on. Once you remove the motor you're screwed
