I loved how well all of this worked, especially with Chaosmon and Rasielmon/ClavisAngemon. It actually kind of feels like something that could've happened in Adventure 2020 which is just really cool.

2020 Takeru's Seraphimon also briefly turned into Black Seraphimon so this version Takeru's Rasielmon could do the same thing with Raguelmon.

I love the way these are switched up. The adventure lines are so iconic it seems like it would be hard to pick new ones without them seeming forced but a lot of these work really well.
I especially like that you managed to switch up Kari and TK's lines to something that feels fresh but still fitting, considering how limited in number the holy Digimon are.
Your excitement about including the holy digimon is infectious. Great choices all around, but we can tell you’re really proud of those picks.

Very nice ideas! I really like using Rasielmon and ClavisAngemon as the angel duo, as they haven't really been used in an animated series yet.
But I think with those lines, the alternate Ultimates for Gabumon and Agumon could be Bryweludramon and Durandamon, as I find RagnaLordmon's body similar to Alphamon and it would work nicely as an "Alter B".
What if Davis was Digimon Emperor instead of Ken?

Love this video and the energy you put into it. Just how much you seem to think about these lines and not just put the first somehwat fitting Digimon in, is real neat. Kinda sad that Yamato's and Taichi's partner both become sorta draconic, but I can see where you are coming from.

Oh, while you are talking about Mode changes. A thing I noticed is that few of the Demon Lords have Mode Changes (Belphemon with Rage Mode and Beelzemon with Blast Mode) and I think it could be really interesting to see what Mode Changes the other Demon Lords could have. Maybe we shall see them one day

Did we forget about that entire Petaldramon/Hikari episode?
Great video as usual. I loved all the picks except for Bancholeomon, as I thought that it was kind of a stretch. I personally would have suggested giving Matt slayerdramon and giving Tai breakdramon and then having them jogress to become examon. While breakdramon isn’t perfect for Tai either I still think that it works pretty well considering it’s draconic appearance. Examon also isn’t perfect either seeing as it doesn’t have that humanoid knight-like appearance that Omnimon does, it IS however a royal knight just like omnimon and alphamon.
Another choice is also to give Matt durandamon and give Tai Bryweludramon and them becoming Ragnalordmon. This choice might actually be better then slayerdramon and breakdramon seeing as that ragnalordmon is much more omnimon adjacent than examon is.
But over all, great video. Can’t wait for what else you have in store

Well, as much as I disliked this Digimon season, this was a fun video and you did a crazy job here. My favorite overall was Mimi's Gomamon line. Really well executed there. Second goes to Takeru's Salamon. And I love you Karn for including Nefertimon in this!!! Since I am STILL salty about them including Pegasusmon but no Nefertimon x/
Also I really love partnering up Sora and Koushiro because they are Taichi's best friends (not just in 2020 though) And as well I love the duo of Jou and Mimi. I've loved those times they got separated together from the group in Adventure, and while the Tri movies weren't the hit they could have been, the second film called Determination is still a favorite of mine. And that's the one that has Palmon and Gomamon reaching mega level together.

I'm surprised Mermaimon wasn't Mimis ultimate. It would keep the feminine aspect that Lilimon has, then could become AncientMermaimon for the mega. That said I'm all for ignoring the "Girls get girl digimon, boys get boy digimon" trope so many of the seasons had.

As someone who loves the Dorumon line I am over the moon getting to see Dorugoramon as Taichi’s mega. Plus having Alphamon and Chaosmon as the counterpart Ultras generally works pretty well imo even if Chaosmon’s a bit of a reach.
I honestly feel tyrant kabuterimon would have worked when we remember that Biyomon started adorable and became a giant bird monster, so tiny bug becoming big murder bug makes sense as a replacement

Also just jesterday I realized how fitting it would be for Gomamon to Digivolve into Gesomon sometimes because both are white marine Digimon and their "arms" kiiiiinda look similar enough? Idk, I picked up again the PS1 card game and Gesomon is one of my aces.

First thing that popped into my head for mimi was korikakumon (beast ice spirit) but couldnt think of a fully comprehensive line for her that was better than yours lol
Still gonna say it because I can't unsee it. But does anyone else think Blitz Greymon could be an Alternative Guilmon Mega.
You know having a Non-Biomerge mega that didn't need to be super humanoid and kept that dragon/dinosaur feel from the rest of the Guilmon line. I mean just put some Digital Hazard symbols on him and change his name to Blitz Growlmon and BOOM new Guilmon Mega.
(Also would recommend you take a minute and look at War Growlmon and Blitz Greymon side be side. You'll see the connection after that.)
(Also I'm not hating on Gallantmon, I love Gallantmon, it's actually my favorite digimon and the one that got me back into digimon through the card game. Just thought this would be a cool alternative.)

Lately i've started to find myself loving Meicrackmon and Rasielmon. Tri really made me hate them for quite awhile but time heals all wounds. They have good design and the premise is just too fun to ignore. I love that evil good mega coin flip thing and they are the first to do it well for me. Cherubimon kind of fails hard at it for me. Megidramon and Gallantmon are really good yet a bit too different in appearance for me to count them even when they are my favorite digimon of all time. Herissmon does it pretty well too.
A lot of cool swaps, nothing really much to say, I think they all work really well in terms of what we have to work with.
Although this kinda made me think: it would be really nice to have some "counterpart" to Alphamon Oryuken like how Omegamon has Alter-S, in this case with Alphamon Oryuken being a Jogress of Oryumon and Dorugoramon, maybe an Alphamon with a weapon made of Dorugoramon would be interesting? Or in general, something to make the relationship between Alphamon/Dorugoramon to Oryumon less one-sided, since, after all, Oryumon is technically not of the Legends Arms, it's not intended to turn into a weapon... -least they could've done is retrocactively make it a member!-

I'm really curious. You may have done a video on it before, but if you had your own Digimon Partner, and had full creative control on how it's evolution line worked... what would you do?
Straightforward line, dark evolution, etc. Fully fleshed out.
For me, I'd personally go for a Black Agumon, and have his main line be the Tyrannomon line.
Don't know if you've done this already, but my personal suggestion for the next video is corrupting the crests of the Digidestined. Sort of reversing their traits, like Courage, into their antithesis, like Cowardice. This is mainly inspired by @DoodlerSand 's art of reversing these traits.
I actually did this myself a while back, and I think I had some good ideas, like evolving Agumon into Darkdramon and Gabumon into BanchoLeomon for a darker alternative to Omegamon in Chaosmon.
The lines I did:
Agumon > Meramon > BlueMeramon > Darkdramon
Gabumon > Mojyamon > Pandamon > BanchoLeomon
Tentomon > Kuwagamon > Okuwamon > TyrantKabuterimon
Gomamon > Sorcerermon > Wisemon > Belphemon
Biyomon > Airdramon > Megadramon > Megidramon
Palmon > Vegiemon > Lilamon > Lotusmon
Patamon > Devimon > SkullSatamon > GranDracmon
Gatomon > AxeKnightmon > Craniamon
They could also all potentially fuse together to form UltimateChaosmon for one last resort
I def love the switches though kinda wished there was a better ultimate for sora’s tentomon since i think i’d prefer something that was still more obviously humaniod. Still a great video!
I would love to see you doing this but since in training like if Tay get Tsunomon intead Koromon, so the rookie could be different. This goes the same for others season too

As much as I'd love to try Magic Spoon, between the currency conversion and shipping it's still cheaper to buy cereal from the supermarket in the UK which is sad. Still this is a pretty fun video but it would be cool to see a re-visit with . . . you guessed it custom art because you know we love those. Still looking forward to your 2023 content. However for Salamon/Gatomon what if her involvement was actually LadyDevimon/Lilithmon? I mean you could come up with an interesting custom champion form too but I feel like you can skip over the champion in this instance. And yes this is partly because I love LadyDevimon and Lilithmon and I've said this before.

Really fun swaps and mon choices! I in particular really like the one for Sora (but I am a massive hudiemon fan so it will always make me happy, man what i would give for a full evolution line thats more visually connected to Hudiemon. More butterflydigimon for the world!) Also great choices for the Takeru and Hikari swap, thats some juicy fanfic material of those devimon implications.

What if there were dark bond digievolutions? Like Agumon Bond of Fear or Biyomon Bond of Hate

I'd still love to see a sibling swap between Tai and Kari and Matt and TK.
Taichi Gabumon mega should be Marsmon (it´s a mega digimon that looks gabumon with fire) so should go something like this:
Gabumon -> Dorulumon -> JaegerDurulomon, or Grappleomon -> Marsmon
Another one I think you missed is Koushiro Piyomon knowledge crest do not need to be metal or technological, for me thunderbirdmon woulb be cool for his piyomon going like this:
Piyomon -> Thunderbirdmon -> Yatagaramon -> Ornismon
That said I think you nailed on CaptainHookmon loved it

tbh, imo it would be nice if the videos about partner swaps would not only focus on the digivolutionines. Yamato and Tai are extremly different charakters and their digimon are also very different with agumon beeing an extraveted partner with an extraverted tamer and vice versa. But seeing Tai with a calm nature like gabumon would probably change his entire career as a tamer, and Yamato would also make more spontainious decisions thanks to Argumon. I always thought that Yamato and Gabumon are not going well together since Gabumon represents everything in nature that Yamato isnt. Patamon and Gabumon cared more for TK than his brother and thats just hilarious. Yamato is such an a-hole in the series. He needs a direct partner like agumon that tells him hes crossing lines. I mean gabumon wasnt even questioning it as he left the squad.

Too bad CaptainHookmon is just an ultimate, he looks like he'd be a great biomerge form for someone who has Gomamon as a partner.
I always have the hope that one day they will finally give chaosmon a perfect form is such a shame that such a powerful and cool design is wasted in a paradox digimon that can’t even hold his own power and gets erased because of it.

All your Choices were good I would have Joe’s Palmon become LordBloommon as it would be a good counterpart to Mimi’s Rosemon in the original universe Mimi having Netunemon as her Gommamon’s mega was good I think TK having Gatomon then the Armour Digitalution would be Meildramon as Gatomon Armour digivolve into it with the DigiEgg of Hope and Ilike the Idea of using Meicomon’s Good Digitalution as Salamon’s Evolution line with Tk was good amd Kari’s Patnamon becoming ClavisAngemon was good Tainand Matt parter swap are good and Sora and Izzy’s parter swaps are good.
Why not Puppetmon as Joe's Mega? I can totally see it working out.

I don't know but for me seeing Alphamon turning into Chaosmon feels like a step down. Omnimon and Alter-S are the same levels but I can suspend disbelief. Seeing the Alphamon O stepping down to Chaosmon doesn't fit quite right sadly.
