WR250R Clutch Cable Lubrication

Clutch was feeling sticky and wasn't smooth so decided to lubricate it. I did it my way and there are a lot better ways to do this so take this video for what it is. But if you have never lubed your clutch cable, do it asap as it will feel much better.

I ended up buying a tool from rocky mtn ATV. It's way easier and cheap.

FLUID FILM is the best lubricant you can use. Slickest stuff on earth.

Just did this today after 3 years and a trip to the Yukon, had fallen off my maintenance schedule - so easy and makes a huge difference! Can't really feel much difference between this and a hydraulic clutch feel now, maybe just a little heavier but not much. Enjoying your vids, good to see another noob getting to grips with this awesome little bike. I was in the same boat in 2015, a bit better of a rider now and still loving this machine.

I actually got one of those Tusk Cable Lube tools and it works great. But it really does make a huge difference. Thanks for the comment.

Does the cable go into the first or second hole on the bottom of the lever?

I only have one hole in my lever. If you have two holes you'll have to just try and see which one will work for you clutch cable length
