    I have had a Tread for a few years and has helped me out countless times. Also great is the Lipstick torch I live in the country here in the UK and it's summer so lots of bad weather to come. Love your Brake Down. Going to get a Patch. PEACE

      Thank you for watching! 🙂 🙂 Yeah, I'm always telling my friends how "it is always better to have more tools than you need, than not to have any, as we'll never know when we'll need them!" I still haven't had the real need to use my Tread (yet), but will definitely keep it on me, just in case!
      Hope the weather won't be too intense this summer for you! Stay safe! 😊 😊

    Idk why Gerber gets crapped on so much, I have had my Gerber dime for 10 years and its still going strong. I use it so often that I keep it on my keychain.
    Edit: I have a hero clip on every bag that I edc, I've found the mini and small most useful for my needs. They may be pricey but they're worth every penny and I've gotten my moneys worth in use-per-dollar.
    Edit #2, I also use the orbit key and love it for all the reasons you listed but it Also wont scratch my phone screen or poke a hole in my bags. Won't use another key organizer ad I love this one.

      Totally! 🔥 While I'm a lover of both Gerber & Leatherman, I think it might just be a different preference for different people.. 😀

      @@Hong.Wanderlust as you stated in the beginning of your videos, it depends on your use-case and needs. Being in a more urban environment I don't need as many of the outdoorsy style tools that leatherman is geared towards and its also very hefty for my EDC needs as I don't need a full-size multitool as work. However I do have a Leatherman juice XE6 for my purse but I use that when I'm not at work. During the work week I don't have time to need a heavy duty multi tool.

    • @Hong.Wanderlust
      @Hong.Wanderlust  Před 2 lety +1

      @@twistedxvengeance Yup! I do agree that the (right tool is needed for the right purpose). Sometimes 'overkill' ain't practical/logical. 👍🏻 👍🏻 I don't actually own a full/complete multi-tool, for that, I have a pretty complete set of stand-alone tools at home. 😀 😀

    I also have the Nitecore bp20 as an everyday bag . I made a few changes.
    If you use it as a casual urban bag , try taking out the metal frame and the plastic board? This makes it much more pliable and will sit on its bottom easy making it user friendly.
    It sits on your back closer and still carries well.
    I cut off the middle straps they serve little purpose to me ,and clean up the look .
    Great every day bag

    • @Hong.Wanderlust
      @Hong.Wanderlust  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello fellow BP20-user! ✌🏻
      Ahh, I never thought of removing the metal frame and plastic board.. I'm sure it'll lighten the weight significantly!
      However, I'm also worried as the weather here in tropical Singapore is mostly (mad hot) and (mad humid).

    • @robduncan599
      @robduncan599 Před 2 lety +1

      @@Hong.Wanderlust you might be right , in hot climate? You can try it so if it works for you ? You can always fram back in if you don't like it ? I find it more user friendly everytime you set the bag down it sits down spot on . The trampoline back works well as a hiking bag , but as a urban everyday bag i find it a hindrance? I find this worthwhile. Give it a go see what you think ?
      As a bagaholic i have many bags , i nearly always modify them in one way or another usually removing laptop sponge and back plates freeing up space and weight .

      @Hong.Wanderlust  Před 2 lety +1

      @@robduncan599 Yeah, I absolutely agree with you that the backpack (doesn't sit properly) after setting it down.. Will definitely look into removing the frame and see how it fares! Many thanks for your advice! ✌🏻 ✌🏻

    crazy, i have the same pack but i guess there are some differences, i got it from an RC company called corrupt carbon works for the sole purpose for RC trail hikes. it can hold a spare rc truck, or if it brakes and don't wanna carry it aha. But i literally have all my stuff in it , its also my large EDC bag, its on me with or without an RC truck. probably gonna get a new one in black or regular cammo and make that my EDC and keep my old one just of hiking and RC trucks
    definitely cheaper than the nitecore
    but not as cheap as the other off brands that sell the same bag on amazon

    • @sickboom7474
      @sickboom7474 Před 2 lety

      @@Hong.Wanderlust not for rock crawlers, buggies and all the racing stuff yes, but if you like to carry a big ol case around thats cool too. RC crawlers weight from 3 to 8 or 9 pounds depending on how you build them. both of my trucks weigh like 5 pounds and they're 10th scale so they fit perfect in that space between the backpack and molle thing.
      i got mine from CorruptCarbonWorks
      they have pictures of how the truck sits on the bag.

      Unfortunately we aren't allowed to carry knives in Singapore (without legal purpose/intent), and we aren't allowed to own firearms either. With regards to fire, as this is my urban configuration, I don't actually carry any additional fire-starting tools/materials with the exception of a regular lighter in my pocket. 😊

      I recently checked the Nitecore website and it seems like this backpack has been discontinued. However, I did see it on other online platforms (AliExpress).

    is it legal to carry multitools in Singapore?

    • @Hong.Wanderlust
      @Hong.Wanderlust  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey, that's a great question! (Please don't quote me on this) Based on my personal understanding, multitools are permissible as long as you can safely and logically justify its necessity and/or applicability. I have personally used my multitools in real-life situations before (eg: pulling out a screw in my car tyre by the side of the road).
