The Almohad Empire was founded by Ibn Tumart among the Berber Masmuda tribes in the south of Morocco.

Tlemcen was always a Moroccan city before the Ottoman-French rule of Algeria.

Not true, all the dynasties that ruled Morocco are Moroccan.
The Almohad Empire was founded by Ibn Tumart among the Berber Masmuda tribes in the south of Morocco.
Abd al-Mumin was born in the city of Tlemcen, which was a part of Morocco during the rule of the Almoravids.
Tlemcen was always a Moroccan city before the Ottoman-French rule of Algeria.
Algeria did not exist at that time, so it is funny to call him an "Algerian" !!
