@@nahomg3241 The purpose of the consultation is to determine whether you qualify for a visa. If you do not qualify for that specific visa, then we ask additional questions to determine whether you qualify for another visa.
What is the minimum courting time ; i.e., the time that the couple must have spent dating, before submitting the K-1 or K-3 , that USCIS would consider for the marriage to be legit? About 6 months, I would assume?
K-1 would require you 6-14 months USCIS approval before you could do the spousal VISA, which means you couldn't to the US at that time, and then work and stay in the US for 2.5 years with work permit for a greencard. while K-3 you needed to be married outside of the US, and the US spouse would file the documentations in the US and you could go to the US immediately, and work with permit and will receive the greencard 2.5years later.

So K1 Visa, August 23rd is 13 months for us, still have no NOA2 approval letter. My lawyers are saying K3 Visas are more a priority right now and have a quicker processing time. So they said if we wanted to we could get married in my fiancés country and send proof off to them so they can speed up our process converting it to K3 visa. I was told takes 1 year for I-130 and 19 months for K-3 visa. Filling simultaneously sometimes speeds the I-130 process

No minimum. But the application can take over 15 months and it doesn’t start until you’re 100% submitted.

If your fiancé is not the biological parent of your child, then your child would need to enter on a different visa.
your fiance need to adopt your son before the age 21, and will need to go through K3 VISA too.
