  • My hoohah, purse, goodies...whatever you call it my vajayjay is falling out! Does it sound as crazy as it looks? I hope I'm not the only one who's experienced this during pregnancy. But, I wanted to share just in case another expectant mom is feeling alone as well. In this mom vlog, I'll discuss my 5 month pregnancy update, and what I experienced during my first trimester. Maybe I don't have to warn you as to how embarrassing posting this mom vlog is, but if it helps someone....please tell me in the comments LOL. Share your embarrassing stories if you have any, so I can stay sane too!

From the Cleveland Clinic explaining vaginal prolapse: my.clevelandcli....
"Vaginal prolapse is a condition where the vagina slips out of position. This is more common in women who have had multiple vaginal deliveries during childbirth, have gone through menopause, are smokers, or are overweight. The chances of developing a prolapse also increase as you age."
From Better Health regarding vaginal prolapse stages:
    www.betterheal....
Uterine prolapse is described in stages, indicating how far it has descended. Other pelvic organs (such as the bladder or bowel) may also be prolapsed into the vagina.,. The four categories of uterine prolapse are:
Stage I - the uterus is in the upper half of the vagina
Stage II - the uterus has descended nearly to the opening of the vagina
Stage III - the uterus protrudes out of the vagina
Stage IV - the uterus is completely out of the vagina

I have officially given birth TWICE with prolapse, but my recent birth presented several issues thanks to my prolapse and it has drastically changed. Watch here to see an update on my prolapse and what I’m currently experiencing: czcams.com/video/JGXXhrKFQTg/video.html.

This literally happened to me with my first pregnancy after delivery my cervix was out but went back in after 6 weeks. Happens again after delivering my second child this time worse! But went back in after 8 weeks. With my third pregnancy it came out in my first trimester at about 12 weeks but went back in at when I was 16 weeks pregnant at delivery I got an episiotomy which was stitched and everything was swollen at the entrance so that probably helped with keeping everything inside this time I had plenty of rest so I never actually felt anything come out after that. I’m now pregnant with my fourth child And this is happening again at 11 weeks not afraid of it this time around but hopefully it should have gone back up in my second trimester. Hoping for a safe delivery. This is common. I was 26yrs with my first pregnancy and I’m 35 now. I felt alone for a long time but I’m not scared of it anymore literally don’t know anyone physically who has gone through this but I get it that no one wants to reAlly talk about it. I’m not ashamed at all.

It’s treated like its unheard of, but it’s more common than you think. I had surgery (and posted an update), and it was the best decision I ever made, because my prolapse progressively got worse after posting this video.

Thank you for sharing your story.
My 3rd baby was very close after my 2nd and the births (pushing part quick) and after the birth I noticed a ball or something heavy in the entrance to my vagina. I frieked out! I still have a uterine prolapse mine is the bladder and cervix. My cervix is about an inch from the inside gotten worse because I'm now pregnant with baby #4
sorry it is tmi. I am only 12 weeks pregnant
    But it's made it worse.
Also breastfeeding makes it worse and pregnancy because your muscles are looser.
It's kind of rare at a young age, this is usually associated with the older women 50+ some of us are just unlucky I guess.
My symptoms incase anyone is interested are:
Pulling heavy feeling at entrance to vagina,
    Cervix much lower,
Bladder issues with needing to go alot and sitting there for ages and nothing happening,
    Discomfort during sex.
My options were 6 months of pelvic floor excersices and then if not surgery, or live with it. I did the excercise and choose to live with it for now but it's gonna get worse so maybe after I'll have the surgery.
Sorry this is long and general I just don't normally find others who have had this so I thought I would share. Last thing I was 28 after I had the 3rd baby and noticed this.

Thanks for sharing this. I have been unable to find women close to my age share stories. It’s always much older women. I’m 29 I’ll be 30 in 2 weeks. Just had my third baby in October. All of my births went great and were quick. I didn’t tear in my 2nd or 3rd births, only my first. I only needed two stitches. I found out I had a mild cystocele after my first baby in 2019. And then having 2 more babies since then it’s obviously worse. I can kegel just fine and my core is pretty strong. I honestly don’t know why this is happening other than genetics. My grandma and my mom both have prolapse too.

Hi, I see you posted this video 5 years ago.. I just wanted to say thank you! I've had 3 children. I'm 29 yrs old. My youngest just turned 2. My symptoms are a bit different but didn't have symptoms until a few months ago. My midwife casually said you might benefit from pelvic floor exercises. Well I did a couple kegels. It was hard to do and gave up. Well here I am Almost 2 years later dealing with rectal prolapse. I became constipated and after straining.. when I wiped I noticed my bum sort of bulging. Freaked me out. For a while thought I had hemmroids but it never went away and slowly has gotten worse. Also just watched a video and said if you have a bulge coming from the back side inside your vagina you could have a rectal prolapse, I think the middle is bladder prolapse and a bulge coming from the front is a uterine prolapse. I could be mistaken on the last 2. This is uncomfortable. Incredibly embarrassing. The worst for me is we had excellent insurance 7 months ago. Now we have none. I'm watching pelvic floor exercises that go beyond kegels. I heard kegels alone and took much could worsen prolapse. I see a Dr. In a couple days. I'm just glad I came across your videos and others in the comments. Feels better knowing this doesn't just happen to old folks and me. Lol

😲wow! Ok so i just had my second (3 days ago) and I noticed this bump probably like the size of a marble sticking out of my vagina. I felt extremely swollen after birth but I just figured it was bc I just gave birth..
With my first, it went smooth. I only pushed a few times and she was out, I did tear but I didn’t get stitches…I’ve always said I should have but they told me I didn’t need it. Fast forward to my second, now I got this marble size bump/ball right along the side I tore at!
I’m just surprised no one at the hospital told me about this.

I just found out today I have a prolapsing bladder. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and have been feeling tons of pressure when I go to pee. I was in the shower and was blind shaving and felt pressure on my vajay jay. And on both side of the opening was a bulge. Well come to find out my bladder is trying to push out. 😂. Hello I'm a 16 year old female athlete, I plan on becoming part of the military in a few years but I believe that I have a stage two uterine prolapse. I really don't know who to talk to, but lifting weights and running is a huge part of my life. I don't feel any pain from my prolapse, I have a few minor symptoms. Will I still be able to get into the military? Wouldn't my prolapse get worse with the exercises I am doing and will do there? I'm freaking out to be honest. My dream is to become part of the Marines, it's all I want in life. What can I do? Kegal exercises will only do some much, do you think I will have to get surgery? I'm also worried that if it gets so bad over time and I get surgery that the military will disqualify me for the surgery. There are some surgeries that automatically disqualify people from joining. Please someone help me!

I went into preterm labor and almost lost my second daughter because of prolapse. Pelvic floor therapy can really, really help! Especially myofacial counterstrain if you can find someone who does that. But a regular pelvic floor therapist can help a ton. This is not talked about enough and is very scary. Doctors don't always seem to know what to do with this even. Request a therapist.

It's almost three months post-surgery, and it was the best decision I ever made. I would NEVER go back to experience what I was for the rest of my life. I had extensive surgery with 3 different corrections to make sure it remained in place and being younger held my recovery. Women who are older and usually wait to get this surgery do experience another "sag" but the younger you are the better your recovery. My recovery was supposed to be 6-8 weeks (like most women), but I was fully healed after 4 weeks.

I’m in my first trimester with a prolapse and I want a natural birth . Glad to hear I can still do that . I’m terrified of needing a c section .

I am going to post an update video soon, because I'm getting a lot of comments lately regarding this video. And I have a major update since I just saw a doctor about this. CONGRATS on your pregnancy though! I've had a natural birth with all three of my kids, so you definitely can. It was very hard on my body for my baby boy whom I just birthed, but still doable, even still.

Hello, iam now 17 weeks pregnant and have the same problem like you, so can I do now the kegels without any problems ?

    • @VictoriaVaden
      @VictoriaVaden  Před 2 lety

I would try to start doing kegels. It would not have helped me because of the stage I was at, but if you’re able, kegels can help. After you give birth, if you’re still experiencing prolapse, go see a urogynecologist.

Hi Victoria, did you deliver your baby via normal delivery or c-section??

    • @VictoriaVaden
      @VictoriaVaden  Před 2 lety +2

Since this video, I gave birth to our daughter vaginally in one push (czcams.com/video/GuGOQxdJk2k/video.html), and one month ago again vaginally in one push to our baby boy (czcams.com/video/Y9zTley9piU/video.html). In the video, I just posted, I mentioned the issues I had (and still) have because of the prolapse 😫😖

I gave birth twice during stages 2 and 3 with prolapse. The second time was great, compared to my third. There are three (or four videos) on my chann discussing each birth and my surgery updates. Here’s the latest birth video: czcams.com/video/Y9zTley9piU/video.html
