But what’s the cost to get the meat down to the US? Seems like that would be most expensive. Let’s say a kudu, an oryx, a Nilgai.

Well if you are hunting in Africa typically the meat is donated to the local tribes. Otherwise it depends on which airline you are on. They all have different policies and charges for baggage.

You can’t bring meat back from Africa to the United States. Even prepackaged jerky from the airport will be taken. Surprised you don’t know this.
