Aang(The Last Airbender) Escaped From The Prison Of Zuko(The Firebender)! #fmtptv
Confused why the firebenders are back, Gran Gran explains they're after Aang because he's the Avatar. Zuko and his soldiers come to the village gate, demanding they hand over Aang to keep Wolf Cove safe. Sokka is ready to give in, but Katara persuades him they can't surrender the world's only chance to defeat the Fire Nation.
Sokka challenges Zuko to a one-on-one fight, saying if he wins, Zuko and his men have to leave the village. Zuko agrees. They fight briefly, but Sokka gets hurt and can't fight anymore. Before Zuko can hurt him more, Aang steps in to protect Sokka. The villagers try to fight the firebenders, but Zuko gets angry and decides to destroy the village. Aang offers to give himself up if they promise not to hurt anyone else. Zuko agrees, so they take Aang away. Katara tells Sokka they need to help Aang, so Sokka puts someone else in charge and gives orders for defending the village. Then he gets ready to follow the ship and rescue Aang.
Aang is locked up on the Fire Nation ship, and Iroh comes to visit him. Aang asks why the Fire Nation started the war, and Iroh tries to explain as best as he can. After their talk, Iroh and the guards leave, but before they go, Aang uses his precise airbending skills to snatch the guard's keys.
Meanwhile, at Wolf Cove, Katara and Sokka find Appa and convince him to fly them to the ship. Aang manages to sneak out of his cell and makes his way to Zuko's room. Inside, he finds lots of Avatar artifacts and a notebook full of research. Aang takes the notebook and gets back his airbender glider staff. He heads to the main deck, but he's spotted and chased by the guards.
Aang tries to escape by flying with his glider, but Zuko shoots him down. Sokka and Katara catch him on Appa, their flying bison. Katara uses her waterbending to create a protective wall of water, helping them escape safely. They can't go back to their village because they're worried the firebenders will track them, so they decide to go to the Southern Air Temple instead.
They reach the Southern Air Temple, but it's all in ruins from the Fire Nation's attack. Aang goes to Yengchen's shrine and discovers Gyatso's body. He's overwhelmed with sadness and anger, and his tattoos and eyes start glowing again. Aang's emotions create a powerful windstorm that wrecks the shrine and almost blows Sokka and Katara off the mountain. Katara begs Aang to calm down, but he's lost in his despair.
Aang remembers what Monk Gyatso told him, and he starts to feel better. Katara hugs him as he grieves for his people. Later, they all talk about what to do next. Aang decides to do what the monks told him to do: learn the other three elements and bring balance back to the world. Meanwhile, Zuko is determined to find Aang, no matter what it takes.

0:27 Q1 - Why is 'Leaves from the vine' sadder than Aang's discovery of the air nomads' fate, according to a 2022Jun poll? (In-universe reasons only.) They don't even use the g word to describe what happened to the air nomads. Cowards.
    Q2
'Leaves from the vines' is about a war criminal crying over another war criminal. How's it sad BEFORE Iroh fully defects?
But even after Iroh defects, I don't see how it's sadder than Aang's reaction to air nomads. Or maybe the writing was bad because it's a kids' show which doesn't really dwell much on the g word. Idk.
Q3 - Why isn't Zuko like Israel and Sokka like Hamas?
    ATLA netflix S01E01 - I noticed something:
    - Zuko is like Israel because Zuko accepts a 1v1 fight to reduce civilian casualties.
    - But Sokka like Hamas / Palestine is a war criminal (just like in the original with the false flag on the hot air balloon) by using children as child soldiers and human shields by putting them in the front lines namely at the gates of the southern water tribe. Lol.
    Notes:
    1
Change 'war criminal' to 'unjust war aggressor' if need be.
    2
Imagine you had relatives who met fates similar to the air nomads', but people were crying over leaves from the vine. Eg Uyghur, Cambodia, Rohingya, et al.
