Wow, impressive! I've been on the glacier itself in summer, but this is one ski trip I still need to do.
Yes, it's been on my todo list for a while. There is a tunnel run I'd like to do next season. I purchased the St Bernard + Verbier pass (CHF199) and gave me a half price ticket to Aletsch Arena
the black ski run down from Eggishorn, is it under refurbishment or whats going on? I've seen it marked as closed for years now but last week (was hiking there) I saw construction works going on, helicopters few in concrete etc. maybe there is a chance the run will be open for next ski season
Let's hope as I was told the ground is not stable so maybe they are reinforcing it?
@@ChasingSnow yea, when I was there I could clearly see cracks and it looked like some rocks are soon breaking off, they were about halfway fixing it
what is the speed meter used in the lower left corner?
The gauge is the lower left has quite a bit of information, speed, slope angle, compass and elevation next to it... map in top left corner
