- So there was a preview event for the press some time ago and most of what we got was a hands on impression videos mostly.But I wanted to watch a straght gameplay form the demo presented to jurnaliusts. Unfortunately I was not able to find it anywhere in decent quality (better that 1080p livestream reupload) so I thought I'll try toput it on my own from the scraps of gameplay. Here's what I manage to put together in one, chronlogically set piece of gameplay. I hope you'll enjoy.

This game looks like it will be harder than the original. Enemy movements look more unpredictable and fluid as opposed to the stiffness of the original.
Yes, but the original had the difficulty of the clunky controls and camera. I guess it balances out?

The detail is crazy!!! I mean hell if you slow it down @ 5:43 you can actually see him load and rack a round on his gun, plus the gunshots echo. Jesus, they really outdid themselves with this one.
Well is a fan favorite...I would said the best RE game ever nade...so yeah they had no choice.

This graphic and atmosphere is like mixing between Resident Evil Ethan Winters version and Resident Evil 2 Remake ! I'm so impressed and I want to play this game soon ! I'll check it in my Resident Evil game collection list👍

Yea but also capcom did say it wasn’t meant to be as scary because people complained and couldn’t finish 7 for that reason so 8 had scary moments but was more story and gameplay oriented.

I remember when I would see the chainsaw lady I would get a little frustrated and frightened at the same time! Haha years later it still gives me the same feeling. This is gonna be sick!
and the villagers are more comical than some elements of the game... I mean sometimes those are funny but the ganados are my favorite noise makers.. the los illuminados cult must be absolutely fucking terrifying. but as far as moments where I feel uncomfortable are probably some of the regenerator areas ( not my favorite creature i thought theyre kind of goofy so i dont even want to know whats going to be in this ) .. Ive been playing wii all season and that cage crate dropping boss "it" cant even imagine how intense thats going to be.... the garradors omg... Like its still somewhat decent and no matter how many times ive played this masterpiece ( its also the extras that pack like I guess I never bothered with pro mode until now and finally unlocked the laser gun lol ) i still have moments of getting the creeping willies. Oh also? Dont forget about the flying insect things and the invisible ones... that will be intense. Those have the most annoying movement. ITs crazy how intact the general map is and seeing modern graphics and how much detail and clutter is added without thinking about it in the original is crazy. I'm a little iffy on how much they added it seems a little overkill but it kind of envelopes your senses with chaos and stress... I do enjoy having all the brush and bramble on the wooded trails. I still havent even played or watched a full walkthrough of The Village .
The part where Leon says "no f*cking way" is the best I love how they added dialogue every time you see something wickedly inhumanly crazy.

As usual the horror content is increasing in remake , like all other re games but the thing i loved the most is they kept all the things similiar like the maps , location,story,gameplay,meter etc . All i hope to see is krauser and leon clash .

They also rushed Re3 remake and not take their time.
I liked re4 because of how campy it was. Of all the games to give the atmospheric horror treatment, I don't think it should have been this one.
I really like what I see in Resident Evil 4 Remake gameplay trailers. Resident evil 4 and 8 had a nice pickup sound effect (coins, herbs, ammo), but for some reason REmake 4 doesn't have any pickup sound effects. I hope they will be added at the release of the game
Why are knives used limited, even though in the original version they were made unlimited & also a selling point for the Resident Evil 4 game to overcome bullet limitations. Then also the knife becomes part of the bag which can add to the load of the bag so that it adds items to the bag which incidentally has a limited number of bag columns.
I hope Capcom and Sony PlayStation reads this and makes knives unlimited like the original version because knives are a very crucial weapon in this Resident Evil 4 game.

Because the knife is way too OP in the original. Every veterans RE4 player knows this. It looks like Capcom is doing everything to counter every OG game weaknesses like fans can't use the bait Dr Salvador attack tactic anymore since he has more new moves, the tower in the village will collapse if the player stay too long on the tower so no cheesing using the tower and knife has durability which balance out with the ability to instantly kill downed Ganados and the new parry system. This has to be done to give even the veterans fresh new experience.
I once replied to a person who confidently said that the 4 Remake will be trash because he already knows every tactics for the game. Man even think he can beat Dr Salvador easier because Leon can parry the one-hit kill attack that is until I told him that the knife has durability and blocking Dr Salvador breaks the knife even if the durability is full. Poor man still thought that he'll still find a way to cheese Dr Salvador but we'll see. So you see, people like this is why some changes have to be made but Capcom still kind enough to give the ability to stab a downed Ganados to kill them although it consumes the durability. Still better than having to repeatedly slash the downed enemies until they die like in RE2 and 3 Remake which consumes WAY more durability.

@@iqbalmohamadradzi4387 seriously, those people are so annoying, they want a 10th remaster not a Remake, it's not like RE 3 R were the problems wasn't exactly taking things off, but the essence the original had, simply wasn't there in the remake, It was executed poorly, I was Very anxious in most parts of the original, in the remake, I didn't sense It, It felt generic.
I'm so hyped about this game the boss battles are going to be epic the graphics are crazy insane

Ah man, hewie is dead(The dog from Haunting ground) that means that capcom has completely forgotten about that classic ps2 title which was made around the time the original re4 was made.
If they forgot about it they wouldnt take the time to implement him into the game in the first place would they?

I notice some heinous audio loops without the use of "constant gain" so they just end and start abruptly. I hope thats not in the final version... around the 5 minute mark and before listen to the crows.. then near the dead dog some of the flies and moaning. you can notice this.
