I hope there's a side quest for Ada in Separate ways where she can kill the Jacket stealing ganado and sell Leon's stolen jacket to the Merchant who can then sell it back to the player
I have a little bit of a feeling the jacket might be hanging up in the room ur captured in because if you pay attention in the story trailer and look at the part that shows luis and leon you can see leon wearing it and the room has a dead ganado laying between them while they talk hell the guy leon kills may be the 1 wearing it when trying to execute them

Garrador is one of the scariest monsters in RE series and this remake doesn't disappoints! Just imagine fighting two of them at the same time in the room with bells. Can't wait to see the Regenerator and Iron Maiden monster. I really hope Capcom introduces another new monster in this remake.
Well on the contrary, I have been really happy with everything on all trailers and demos until I saw the Garrador level at the end of this video. Call me picky or anything but they should NOT delete the pillar in the middle of the room where you fight with him. I am ok they delete the bell trick to get him stuck on wall, but the pillar in the middle of the room is the whole point of that level design, it makes harder to get to his back. But now without the pillar , anyone can just wait at any corner of the room for straight sniping, or like the video shows, sneaking to his back easily, and practically making killing him much easier. Before even you have a sniper, your vision and angle can be blocked by the pillar, and you have to sneak around the pillar in both direction with him(pillar technically making this room a 2 direction hallway that you either facing him or on his back but he turns on you thus now player can see why this design works with the combo of the bell trick). It was very possible to sneak to his back around the pillar without using the bell and normally will work out with a few tries(which gives just right amount of gaming tension), that is just a balanced difficulty. Now, the success rate of killing him is just 100% and no damage/risk, and there is no mouse-cat like play, just straight to enemy and push the button.

Ramon Salazar looks so scary and serious here! I love that change in his character. And for the Verdugos, I don’t want to imagine myself trapped with one of them in the remake. Also I’ve noticed that Ashley doesn’t have a health bar which is extremely good and she’s getting like auto commands to keep away from my sight instead of crouching behind me like a little brat, seems like they have increased her IQ.
It’s something I’ve noticed with all three of the main antagonists. Mendez is more intimidating, Salazar is more creepy, and Saddler is more unsettling. I really like the changes Capcom has made to these characters. They actually feel like they’re worth being afraid of.
@@blueflare3848 As much as I enjoyed the original RE4, I found the villains to be kind of hammy at points (especially Salazar). It was something you'd see in an old school James Bond movie. This time around, the villains are scary and serious, something that fits better in my opinion.

The antagonists didn’t feel nearly as threatening as they should (perhaps with the exception of Mendez). I love how unsettling and creepy they are in the remake. Like I said before, they feel like they're actually worth being afraid of.

I don't recall him having any goofy dialogue or one liners like you said would fit in an over the top action flick. Though he really didn't get much screen time or scenes, maybe three at the most I think? Maybe they'll expand upon the villains more in this, and I can't wait to see it.

Remastered versions look sharper but still lack good antialiasing and some of the poor texture work is more pronouced. Very impressive for its age tho. This Remake is miles better graphically of course.
This game looks like everything and more I expected. Really like the stealth sorta approach they’ve took with the remake and made Ashley more dynamic and human. I’ll just buy this game, I won’t wait for the offer.

I'm gonna call it now, this remake will potentially be the best remake in gaming history. I'm dead serious. From a die hard resident evil fan, and 4 being my second favorite game of the franchise, this looks and feels like the original, only better programming codes and better graphics that we use today. Was it incredibly realistic? Not necessarily, but it went well with the "I'm in my mid 20s and I am the President personal agent" realistic. This new version of Leon is still good, but I find him to be a bit less muscled and mature, face wise. Also, not talking about the skin. I'm more talking about the actual facial features. In RE2R I found him perfect, in this one I think they could have made him a bit older face wise.
I heard in an interview with some people which got to play the game early there's a scene of Leon and Krauser previous to beggining, so at the very least the may be adding some flashbacks

My gf of 3 years is a huge fan and got me into it and last week i played and beat RE 4 with her. i hate linear games but my god that was one of the best stories and gameplay ive ever played im sad i didnt sooner. im so excited to play the remake with her!!!
Love how they honored this game even more by revolutionizing it amongst the franchise although not amongst gaming in general such as the over the shoulder camera this game having new consistent dodge and knifing system is incredibly unique amongst re games making it extremely hard to not get anxious to play

I feel like Capcom have something big planned for Chief Mendez. I think he is a stalker enemy. In the interview they did, when asked about stalker enemies being in the game, they said: "Maybe there is? But we will not tell you today." The other reason I think this is because they've barely showed off Chief Mendez in the gameplay/trailers.

i wish there was a knife mechanic where you can give ashley a knife that let's her stab an enemy who tries to kidnap her but leaves leon much more vulnerable to their attacks. when used, you have to retrieve the knife back from the enemy's dead body.
Salazar looks just like the kid who portrays him in the Bentley Bros parody of the game 14 years ago. That's epic to me, I like that they made him short and chunky lol

It looks good, this time in first person playing it and not just as a cinematic. Note that this time those bugs that come out of their heads with blades, Leon can get close to stab them, not like in the original that wherever you go if he cuts you close. I don't know if anyone noticed but the added background sounds make you more immersed in the game as a part of it, unlike the original which was flashy this one is much scarier and sounds so real it sucks you into the environment. . That Leon can block the arrows with the knife that the enemy throws at him, leaving them useless and incompetent before him, that seems incredible to me! what a good use!!

It looks good, this time in first person playing it and not just as a cinematic. Note that this time those bugs that come out of their heads with blades, Leon can get close to stab them, not like in the original that wherever you go if he cuts you close. I don't know if anyone noticed but the added background sounds make you more immersed in the game as a part of it, unlike the original which was flashy this one is much scarier and sounds so real it sucks you into the environment. .
That Leon can block the arrows with the knife that the enemy throws at him, leaving them useless and incompetent before him, that seems incredible to me! what a good use!!
