- Raw rice ( Pacha arisi ) 200 GMs 1 azhaku ,lThoor dal or Thuvaram parupu 100 GM or 1/2 Azhaku, turmeric powder 1 teaspoon, salt to taste , Asefotida 1 teaspoon . Sambar podi : coriander seeds ( Dhaiya ) 50 GMs redchilli 8 no’s, pepper 1 teaspoon, cumin 1 teaspoon, Bengal gram dal 25 GMs2 (hand full), Thoor dal 25 GMs 2 (hand full), asefotida 1 teaspoon, fenugreek 1 teaspoon. : Tempering : mustard 1 teaspoon, redchilli 2 no’s , fenu greek1 teaspoon, curry leaves 2 sprigs . Tamerind size of a lemon For sauting : small onion 200 , tomatoes 200 GMs green chilies 2 no’s oil 1 round spoon .( vegetable option all country veg and carrot can be added)
