- Part 2 is the continuation of an amazing afternoon spent with a momma raccoon and her little babies. I was so fortunate to be able to touch her baby raccoons with her permission. I've known the mother, Cutie Monster, since she was a baby. Her mother, Moira, brought her to me with 3 boys and another girl. I had marvelous friendships with all of those raccoons, including the famous Mr. Wiener.
In this video, you'll see baby raccoons climbing on trees, being curious, and clinging tightly to mom.
Even a friendly deer joins us and helps paint a beautiful backdrop to a peaceful scene. It felt like I was in the Garden of Eden. No fear between man and animal.

They're just the most delightful little critters. Moira's grandchildren. It is a lovely thought. Cutie knows that she can trust you with her babies. They must sleep all huddled together to keep warm. So sweet ❤❤❤

Well, I had an interesting moment with Excitable Bill in the woods tonight. Let's just say I'm applying ice to an injury, lol. I'll have a video in a couple of days about it.

Right now it's one large metal bowl. The little plastic ones got broke. I might have time on Friday to work on it more. My house isn't terribly far if they are thirsty. And there's a pond about 300-400 yards away from this spot.

Other areas of the park get people. I prefer to see no one else. I'm that way when I'm out canoeing, too. I want the entire lake to myself. Nature is my church, and I prefer it peaceful.

I had a deer that showed up every time I had a cookout . The big fella loved hotdogs.
Hot dogs???? Seriously? I had no idea deer ate meat.
@@OONSDAY I know! The first time it happened I was as surprised as you are. He didn’t come out of the woods very much. He would just linger at the edge of the woods and it was about 50 feet from the barbecue and I just throw the hotdogs and he’d get them. Here’s a CZcams video of a deer eating hotdogs.
