  • 900+ cubic inches engines, big tires, and spraying more nitrous than a dentist office sees in a lifetime.....welcome to PDRA Pro Nitrous!!!! The PDRA Fall Nationals proved to be the best race of the season as records were falling, and the competition was tough as they fought for a spot in the 16 car field to gain the advantage and get the most points heading into the World Finals!!!!!

looks like mr. pat musi is the man to beat when it comes to things of horsepower nature!does anyone here know about the engines as far as bore and stroke goes?piston pin height and con rod measurements?i ve heard about 997 cid engines??even 1000 ++cid ones??i raced roots blown chevy big blocks up to 538 cid.here in finland you can multiply prices with over 2 to get the idea what everything costs.for example 2000 dollar engine block costs over 4000 bucks when everything is said and done.my best was 9.624 with 100% streetable 1964 malibu ss powered by low budget 468 chevy bb +8-71 weiand blower that was only as new bought item.block was -74 two bolt truck block converted to 4 bolt splayed one with do it yourself main caps.worked great with 0.040/0.050 under stock forged crank.zl-1 stock rods with arp vawe lock bolts.crane roller cam 0.640 lift and 114 angle.later bought a 80`s pro stock block that was really used to say the least.with 4.625 bore and 4.00 stroke i got 538 cid blown bbc with ridiculous amount of torque.i run out of money that summer so with badly slipping torque converter i did a 9.80.it was so bad it smoked the entire way to finish line.after that i bought a 526 cid pro mod style alky blown bbc with 12-71 hi helix.same summer i was sacked from my job and i ended selling everything.so now i just drool and watch these videos and enjoy these wonderful cars and hope that someday i might race again.
