Thank you for watching, I truly appreciate it. That is the true tragedy of pain is that is personal. Most, like you said, don't know the pain behind the eyes of people they see. It is hard to truly understand a.person, without understanding the pain they feel. I had a major life change a year ago. I ended up having two heart surgeries. I am ok now, I've lost 80 pounds this year, I probably will get off medicine soon. But since then when I didn't know if I was going to die, I feel as though I am reshaping my emotional landscape. I am a roiling boil of emotions all the time, making up for lost time. I am glad to have connected for a moment. Peace and love.

Kasey knew she lit the stage on fire that night, so she did a shout out on her Insta, asking people who were there in the audience to send her any footage they'd recorded, and this is the result of all of those submissions.

I never associated Lose Yourself with sadness and anguish, I always felt the anger and wrath from Eminem's song. This completely threw me for a loop and Kasey's voice is hauntingly beautiful. I am officially amazed.

Right there with you brother. I’ve been watching this over and over for a week now. At first because it’s just so awesomely done and her performance being so powerful. Then day 3 or so, watching another reaction, a dam broke and it became a revelation through connecting to Kasey and the reactor. Music’s power connects and heals, and this song does just that.
I was lucky enough to hear her sing this live in Brisbane. Admittedly, I’m a huge fan and have been for years, but I turned to my husband afterwards and said I’ll never forget that as long as I live. I played cornet, in the band and as solos...... and there is nothing better than knowing the audience is sitting there in awe..... I'm old now.... I no longer play.... but I remember those days......
I feel you there. I used to play out for a long time. I played in several bands and school related stuff. I even made it to county fair level of playing, but life and a growing social anxiety problem forced me inside, I pretty much haven't played in front of people in about 20 years. Last summer I had a health scare and had to have two heart surgeries. I had a complete life change, I had to change everything. I'm good now but that spurred me to get back into music. So I started playing on Twitch and making youtube videos, and here I am now. Still Alive and still playing. Peace and Love my Friend.

I truly hope she performs this song on a major stage at some point. The first time I watched it I was deeply moved, not only by the different mood of this version but by Kasey’s commitment and quality. I’m so glad that this is going viral worldwide with reactors. Most reactors have been absolutely amazed and positive but some have been a bit less so. This wasn’t filmed at the time but when they new they had something special, she asked all the fans to send in phone footage and they pieced it together from that, so the quality maybe not great but I reckon it works. Most of the footage was recorded by audience members..... they begged her to release a video of her version of this song.... so she asked for footage from the audience members....... who supplied it and this video was born.....
You were worried about the quality of the pictures - that’s because they put out a call to the fans who were there for their phone footage and then cut all the clips that were sent in together to create this film clip. So the audio is sound desk, but the visuals are literally crowd sourced.
