La première fois que j'ai entendu cette œuvre, c'était dans les années 90, par le Quatuor Moyses, et puis je la redécouvre ici, et je ressens le même plaisir à son écoute. Le Quatuor Pavel Haas l'interprète à la fois avec beaucoup de cœur et d'efficacité. J'en avais des frissons, pour moi le signe d'une magnifique interprétation. Bravo !
The first time I heard this work was in the 90s, by the Moyses Quartet, and then I rediscovered it here, and I feel the same pleasure when listening to it. The Pavel Haas Quartet performs it both with great heart and efficiency. I had shivers, for me the sign of a magnificent interpretation. Bravo !
This is one of the very best performances of Smetana; the playing and interpretation are stunning. Bravo!
I had the pleasure to hear them play this live today, boy they are briliant, their dynamics, their tone, they really listen to each others, and use vibrato pleasently discret. A must in a record collection.

Wonderful. The sound and playing are incredibly passionate and vivid. It makes the heart beat faster. The swirling video itself makes me sea-sick (fire the Supraphon producer).
A good performance but seriously marred by the dreadfully intrusive camera work. We don't need to swing round in circles looking at the back of the musicians' heads! One or two camera positions with very infrequent changes would show everything we want and distract less.
