in 2016i was charging $150 which is chump change to these companies for my hair reviews.
this year i started charging $350per video.
Now im getting emails from companies willing to pay $500/600 per video.
money isnt everything but its definitely a good incentive when you know the quality you put out.
I wish we were friends irl, i feel like i could really use your guidance.
Like even though i (sorta) know what im doing on this platform business wise im struggling.
i have so many offers and opportunities but theres not enough "me" to be as business savy as possible.
i feel like i need assistance but i dont get paid enough for that.

As they say know you're worth then add tax. Gotta think of yourself as a MILLION DOLLARS. If someone rejected it you'd think " damn this person is crazy" and that's how valuable you should see yourself, your videos, your company or whatever else you bring to the world for your viewers or brands you work with.

when i had 20thousands i didnt reach out to brands either. i felt like if a company had the interest they would reach out. when i had 30k they started poppn up. influence isnt just about subbies its about impact.

*Tbh there is nothing wrong using an iPhone like people get shocked when I say I use my iPhone to film (I got lighting equipment though ) like I have gotten paid Collabs etc using my iPhone but of course now have seen I really wanna do this influencer thing seriously so saving up for a good quality camera . But I’m taking notes sis really helpful it’s hard out here to get noticed*

Maybe you can get creative if you can’t afford it and reach out to the companies and seeing if they will sponsor you or actually going to the thrift store. You’d be surprised what kind of high quality camera you can find there.
Look up if the thrift stores near you and see if you can go to an auction

How can you see enough potential in someone to send out your product for FREE but STILL not find them valuable enough to pay? People def need to advantage of Social Blue Book. When you talked about you never wanted to reach out to companies, I started to question why I was even doing it but I get your view point after thinking on it. I have reached out to companies because I know a lot of people and companies don't see my content and it gave me the opportunity to see if I would catch anyone's attention as well as if I had the courage to do it.
