    Just installed mine on my 2020 sportsman XP1000 eu version, great tutorial followed step by step. Nice content, you have to continue this way! Thanks

    Nice video but you skipped over when you attached the heating element to the grips and the thumb warmer. Why would you leave that out in the video?

    We used to spray the bar with hairspray to lube it to slide the grips on, then it dries and they don't move.

    Anyone tried to wire the thumb and handguard heaters into the same switch?

  • @turdsandwicher
    @turdsandwicher Před 3 lety

    Hi john always enjoy your videos. I have a Honda HSS1332 just like yours 2018 model. It is stuck in free wheel mode. ( you know how you pull up on the two handles to release the track). Yeah its stuck in turn mode. On one side I can push the transmission arm forward and this allows the track to reengage and drive. Although if I pull the level again it gets stuck in spin mode again.
    The opposite side. I am not able to push the transmission arm forward. Without being too forceful. Any ideas what the problem could be?

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 3 lety

      Never had that happen to me. But I would start at making sure the steering cables are adjusted properly.

    • @turdsandwicher
      @turdsandwicher Před 3 lety

      @@JohnFrancoNH ended up being covered by warranty. They said the steering cables were seized and replaced them. I kept thinking it was something to do with the transmission.

    How are you enjoying the Rogue grips? Should I change or stick with Oem ones?

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 3 lety +1

      The ODI Rogue are great but i have recent changed them to the ODI Vapor ones and i love them. Lots of cushion and still good firmness. Very comfortable if you do alot of ATVing. Thanks for watching!

    Where you unplugged those square connectors do you plug them back in. I have a Highlifter I found those square connectors but they were plugged into

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 3 lety +1

      If those connectors are being used then you will just have to wire it up right to the battery terminals. Thanks for watching!

    Just curious why did you put the OEM exhaust back on?

    • @JohnFrancoNH
      @JohnFrancoNH  Před 3 lety

      Got sick and tired of the excessive drone from the big gun exo when out trail riding, plowing & not being able to hear other riders speaking because i had to wear ear plugs when machine is running. The 2018 and up have the newer designed higher flowing stock exhaust. So removing the spark arrestor gives more bark. Much happier now.
