Yes! I wanted to upgrade from the XS Max, so I bought the 12 Pro. But I returned it due to the terrible battery life. I just purchased an 11 pro :) now I won’t be upgrading until the day Apple removes the notch

We will keep them for like 4-5 years.... Still have iPhone 6s Plus in excellent condition... I have changed the battery 3 times over the years and it’s as good as new!

Great video. Completely agree about this is that special iPhone that people will keep for at least a few years. It’s got everything. The only negative I have on my iPhone 11 Pro is the weight. But even then, it’s not a MASSIVE negative, it’s just that it starts to feel quite heavy in the hands when you’re using your phone let’s say at night whilst in bed - and by the way, I mean whilst the case is off! Taking the case off in “glass-proof” environments has helped quite a lot with the weight issue. Coming from an iPhone X user previously, the 11 Pro is definitely a massive upgrade, especially in regards to the battery life. I’d give the 11 Pro a 9/10! 😎

Was actual torn between a refurbished 11 pro and the 13 pro. Ended up getting the 13 pro and happy with it. That and the 11 series phones after working in cellular have a lot of issues with Bluetooth connectivity and cellular problems.

i just bought xs but then sell it because of the battery but xs is a beautiful phone and i just bought 11 pro yesterday but its a second-hand phone I wish i will not regret it because i chose it over a brandnew iphone 11. congratulations to ur channel
89 percent battery on the one I've just bought. Very nice performance and a good screen. Battery life is such that I've never had to charge up apart from at bedtime. Cameras are impressive although sturggles with moving subjects inside. I think that's because it defaults to night mode. In natural light it's really good. Zoom is decent. 2x is useful for portraits and getting slightly closer to stuff. Pretty hard to fault for the price I paid (460 quid for 256gb in excellent condition)
I got the iPhone 11 Pro gold from my iPhone 11 because of the oled screen tbh and the triple camera setup lol cuz I wanted a telephoto lens

Great video. I have the iPhone SE 1 (Yeah I know, crazy right?). I was first thinking of buying the SE 2 with it having the home button that I'm familiar with but the battery life isn't great though and I feel like the phone wouldn't last for more than 3-4 years. Then the other iPhone's I'm consider buying are either XS/11 Pro/12 Mini. The only thing that makes these not so approachable is the size, (and the home button missing but I guess you get used to that. I have to make that jump to the all screen phones at some point I guess) I really dont want no Max phones and generally I hate reaching the top screen with moving my hand. Is this also just a thing you get used to? That's why I was considering the 12 Mini also.
I can totally understand your situation. At one point I felt the same too, but ya I think for you the goal should be to buy the smallest phone without sacrificing too much on battery life.
So, that being said, I wouldn’t consider going for the 11 as it is larger than the 11 pro and 12 mini, and doesn’t necessarily have an amazing battery life, but the battery life on the 11 is not bad.
So I guess the 2 options are 12 mini and 11 pro.
Now I haven’t personally used the 12 mini so I can’t say too much about it, but I have used the 11 pro and I really like it.
According to many other reviewers the battery life on the 12 mini is bad, but I don’t know how bad. What I do Know is that, the 11 pro has an amazing battery.
So I guess if you can, maybe try using the 12 mini, maybe order it and if you don’t like it, just return it. What I can say is that the 11 pro is a really good phone, won’t disappoint you in terms of battery, performance, cameras and even price. I just can’t say for sure that it will be the right size for you.

@@imSpixel Thanks for the reply! I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the 11 Pro, refurbished. For a quite good price too, not in excellent condition though. I have had bigger phones in the past prior to having the SE 1 like the Galaxy S3 and P8 Lite so I think I'll get used to the size as time passes. Also going to get the 256GB because I want the phone to last me atleast over 5 years. I have had the SE 1 for almost 4 years and still works (took it to a repair shop at one point) so the 11 Pro must be good for a long time, especially with that 256GB size capacity and battery. Just hope the phone can take some damage like when doing fitness, dropping it on the floor or being in the army, might have to get a case for that. Also the weight difference with the SE 1 and 11 Pro is crazy, I guess the battery is to blame for that haha. Appreciate the input and info you gave it did help a lot!

Honestly, i use my phone to only call and text, I don’t even take pictures or something anyway, so i think it’s not wise enough to spend another 1000$ or more for an iPhone 12 pro that’s just slightly better( according to apple) than 11 pro.
For godsake spend your money wisely, half of the features people don’t even use for which they bought the phone for.

It's still good for the next 3-4 years, will probably still get ios 20 tbh, if you have the money for it, go for the 11 pm, the only true upgrade available is the 13 pro and 13 pm, 12 and 14 series are a letdown, but even then the 11 pro is still more than good enough

Good question! So, I think you would really only benefit from the 11 pro’s great battery life, if you could find one with a good battery health. Because from what I know the 12 doesn’t have terrible battery health, so if you get an iPhone 11 Pro with a bad battery health, you might end up having worst battery life than the 12, if that makes sense.

Hummm...interesting! Well tbh my 11 pro is super normal, I think. Apple says that you would have to replace your battery after about 2 years, because it will be at 80% battery health in about 2y. So my 11 pro is right on track for that. Lost ~10% in a bout a year, so it should be at 80% after another year, which matches to what apple claims.
Now the question is, how come your iPhone 11 Pro is still at 99% battery health!? 🤯

But honestly I don’t really know why would that be. Maybe it’s because you don’t use a fast charger, which is good, but other than that I really can’t think of a reason for your battery health to differ so much compared to mine 🤔

Logically, it is almost impossible for a phone to retain 99% of its battery health after a year. Have you updated your iPhone to iOS 14.5 ? That particular version of iOS introduced battery recalibration for iPhone 11 lineup.
I have an 11 Pro Max that I have had for a year and 2 months and I’m currently at 89% battery health, despite the fact that I take extra care of it.
@@TechnoGeek209 as a matter of fact, I did update to 14.5 recently. When I go into the battery health section, it says that it’s recalibration and may take a couple weeks. So you’re probably right. 99% seems to good to be true anyways lol

I haven’t used the 11 pro max, but I think it has even better battery life, also a bigger screen, so I think the extra 80$ makes senses.

Good question! I would say wait and get the iPhone 11 Pro in September, if you’re not having any problems with your current phone. So if you can use your current phone for a few more months then wait tell September. If you can’t wait then sure go for the 11.
However, I feel like there wouldn’t be a major price drop on iPhone prices even after the 13 is released. That’s what normally happens, at least in my opinion. But I think it’s worth waiting if you can.
And of course, keep looking, maybe with a little bit of Luck, you’ll find a 11 pro in your budget before September!

Well, If your sister is ok with that, then ya! I think it’s worth switching. In my opinion you’ll definitely like the 11 Pro. I’m assuming your sister uses the fast charger that comes in the box with the 11 pro, which is probably the reason why it has low battery health compared to your phone.
So if you decide to swap, I would honestly recommend you to use a slow charger, unless you’re not planning to keep this phone for a few more years. Because fast chargers degrade the battery really quickly, and that’s the reason why I don’t use a fast charger.

Um, I think if you can find one for a good price than sure why not, but if you can compromise a little and keep using the 11 and then maybe upgrade directly to maybe an iPhone 13 or later.
But if you really can’t live with the 11, than I guess it would be worth upgrading.
The reason why I say to try find an 11 pro for a good price is because, If you can’t find an 11 pro for a good price you might end up losing quite a bit of money making the switch from the 11 to the 11 pro. And the reason why I think you should upgrade if you really can’t live with the 11 is because, in my opinion it’s better to spend a little bit of money instead of being frustrated all the time.
So that’s my opinion, I hope this helps :)
