Welcome back. Loved the video. Sometimes some fresh air and a little work will make the sickness flee. Continue to get well.
Yes it was a good day. Getting better all the time. Thanks for stopping by hope you have a good week take care.
Hey Ben, Great to see you out and feeling better again.
Thanks guys.
Ben,
I hope you get though the covid, those kids will pass along some sickness, when my kids were young and in school. They never failed them kids dragging something home.
Glad to see what it takes you t, to do a cord, I'm slower for sure , no equipment to move things around.
But it's good exercise for a old guy, I burn a couple cords a year and get free tree service wood so it's a win ,win.
God bless, take care of your self
Thanks I’m doing a lot better now. Yes sir free is good. I’m not sure how much I burn since it all comes from the scraps. Probably somewhere close to 1.5 - 2 cords. Thanks for stopping by God bless.
Hope you get to feeling better! I split and stacked for a couple hours yesterday for the fist time in 2024. Trying to beat the next polar storms coming in the next 2 weeks. Low snow levels, possibly to my house. I am in the lower foothills of the Oregon Cascade Mountains east of Salem.
Feeling much better sir. Send that polar weather this way if you can. It’s been warm lately but we got a Facebook reminder showing we had about seven inches of snow nine years ago. Take care enjoy your Sunday.
Hey Ben,glad you getting better.thats some pretty hickory. Some of those great big rounds could be noodled, just saying, save your back...I'm 61 now.yesterday towards the end I noodles a few.i was give out.blackjack oak, stringy like hickory. Take care🍻
I sometimes noodle some of the larger stuff. These were borderline but I only had a few. Thanks for stopping by.
Good to see you Ben, sounds like your rounding third and headed for home dealing with that darn illness. Springs right around the corner, hope to see you supplying the ballpark again this year. Take care, both you and the Mrs.
Mike I think I’m between third and home. I tried to run after church today. It was a slow go but I managed three miles. I’m actually hoping winter sticks around really helps firewood and allergies. Take care.
I got the gift of China (Covid) October of 22 and was down for a week. Had no energy all last year (2023) was drinking 3 energy drinks a week just to plow thru it.
Than October of 2023 snap all of a sudden i can do more (( no energy drinks) and have the energy to do what I need to do.
Now working on getting my straight back. Since October i have had 4 energy drinks and feeling better and better every day.
Hang in there Ben, you and the Wife will get through this. 😉👍
Daniel good to hear you got your energy back even if it did take a year. We are a lot better. She lost taste and smell but it’s very slowly coming back a little. I just feel tired more and have actually taken a few naps. I’ve never been one to ever take a nap but as of late. Take care enjoy your Sunday.
@OGAOutdoors : Same here. Lots of extra sleeping for me. But getting better and better every day.
Glad to see you’re back Ben. I always enjoy your videos
Thanks John good to be back.
Glad you and your wife are gradually getting better, so don't work too hard and get some rest!
Thanks Obie we are getting there. I’ve been working quite a bit lately with no adverse effects so hopefully I’ll be good to go. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Ben! That’s a good days work if you weren’t ill! Feel better soon!
Thanks Mike I got my cord done. I did another one Saturday. Things are getting better.
Ben, I enjoy your videos (except for that ear-irritating 1165 lol). I really am impressed with not only your 2265, but with your ability to turn out a quality product. I wish I had your energy, but after 60 I went downhill - and it gets worse each year thereafter. So do all to take care of that back now, son 👍🏻
I’m going to have to send you some hearing protection for the 1165 videos lol. The 2265 really gets it done for sure. I’m trying to take care of myself best I can. I reckon it happens to all of us as we get older. We just do what we can. Take care sir.
Hope you can shake that bug Ben. Be sure to take your vitamins! That splitter is pretty neat. Looks like the knife is two stage like some of the timberwolf's I see. See you on the next one. Joe
Thanks Joe. I think it’s gone just need all my energy back lol. Take care enjoy your Sunday.
Welcome back Ben. None of your viewers enjoy being BENLESS! Stay safe. Tim in northern TN
Thanks Tim good to be back at it. Planning to push on through making more inventory.
@@OGAOutdoors this TN 72 year old needs to get with it too. Thanks for your service to the school district & its students. Tim

Thanks David I think I may be close to normal if I ever was normal. Thanks for stopping by.
Great video. Sure like that Split Fire. I just got a cold yesterday. Had not had a cold since Febuary/March of 2020. Never did get the Covid.
Have a great day. 👋👋👍🏻👍🏻🪵🪓🔥
Hopefully it’s just a cold. I dodged the Covid as well. Hopefully you can do the same not something I want again. Take care of yourself and thanks for stopping by.
@@OGAOutdoors 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
That is some beautiful Hickory!! Take care Ben👊🏻
Yes I’ve been covered up with hickory since last fall. Thanks for stopping by.
Ben, sorry to hear you have been sick. Things have stayed away from me this winter but I do get the Senior flu shot each fall and have been stuck three times with the COVID vaccine. I told my pill pusher I ain’t getting stuck, anymore. These vaccines do have side effects. They like to cause me joint problems, especially in my shoulders, elbows and my wrists. Voltaren gel and Asper Cream does help, along with Tylenol or Ibuprofen but they have side effects, too. My shoulder hurt so bad that I could not even crank a saw. It is getting warm enough here that my joints are limbering up. I cranked up my 021 and 024 this past week and let them run for a few minutes.
I normally don’t get any of the shots. I’ve only had the flu once since I was 20 so I’m relatively healthy. That’s the main reason I avoided the Covid shots was the side effects. My mom got all the shots and still got Covid at least twice. We just do the best we can. Take care of yourself.
@@OGAOutdoors try to.
I have a 662cm with all the stock parts and custom Westcoast parts ..rap handle.and more 25 inch stihl bar new ..saw has only about 10 tanks it's basically new and with parts it's over 2100 ..00 it's fir sale 1400.00..if you wanting bigger saw......good deal..time saver.
Sounds like a good saw thanks for asking. I kinda like my Echos especially when prices come up. I think I paid less than $400 for the saw in the video. I’ve had it about six years no complaints so far.
If it weren’t for those meddling kids lol…
Glad you’re back Ben! The flu & covid is still kicking here in N. Alabama 😷
Yes those kids. We had done so well and then bam. Yes it’s thanks for stopping by.
Hi Ben There you are splittin that wood love to all
Thanks Sharon seems like I’m always splitting. Keeps me busy. I split some today getting as much done as I can before the weather warms up. Hope you have a great weekend.
Ben, sorry to hear you got sick. I imagine it takes a lot to knock you out of the game. Enjoy The Journey - Cheers
Thanks Bob I’m much better now. I slowed down a lot but getting back in the game now. Take care Ben.
👍👍👍
Man that's nice splitter goes both ways.....it does need tad larger cylinder..mine will split that easy but it's slower bevause no both ways..has ram pushes to the wedge..has old mfg cylinder on 2 eye beams on wheels..2 small plate tables on each side no vertical just horizontal. But splits anything..
Seth sounds like your splitter does a good job. The 2265 has its limits but makes up for it splitting both ways. Especially in stuff that splits a little easier.
Good Day Sir, I'm so sorry about getting the CV-19 😢 OUTSTANDING Work That You have accomplish Sir 😇👌💪👍Be Well Sir Cheers 🍻🍻
Thanks Dave. Getting better everyday. Enjoy your Sunday brother.
@@OGAOutdoors 💪💪👍👍👌👌😇😇🍻🍻
Also trying to help..I noticed your wedges are hindering you ..the wood can't continue past..could have a guy weld you bigger more narrow wedge on each end..God bless
You sure put in a hard day's work, Ben. Just curious, how often do you have to change the blades on your chain saws and other equipment? Than ks for sharing.
Christie they last a long time if you can stay away from the foreign objects. I have several for each saw and try to keep them sharp. Eventually the cutters get worn down from sharpening then you have to replace. I have issues with chains getting where they won’t cut straight and causing the saw to bind. I have one right now that is at about half life and causing me problems. It will cut smaller stuff okay. I’ll still use it where I can especially in situations where I don’t want a good chain being used.
🎧🤪🎙️🫶 Thank you so much for sharing 🙏 I wishing you a beautiful day to you and all your viewers. Much Love Thierry ❤️˘◡˘❤️
