I could never read 15 books in a month, I don't know how you do it! My goal for this year was 7 books, i've passed it already, but i only read like, 12 books. Great video as always x makes me want to read more...maybe I will.

Have you seen the announcement for the Amazon Originals Creature Feature novellas yet?! They are being released on September 26th and are going to feature novellas by Joe Hill, Grady Hendrix, Paul Tremblay, Josh Malerman, Chandler Baker, and Jason Mott! I don’t know if they’ll be releasing physical copies, but they will be available on KU!
My favorite read of the month was Belladonna! But I also am in the middle of The Secret History, which i’m loving!

Your experience with Hello Stranger was my experience with Things You Save in a Fire. That protagonist tried every one of my nerves to the point that I haven’t read a Katherine Center book since then.
I absolutely hated One True Loves when I read it a few years back. I didn’t get the hype at all.
I’m in the middle of The Seven Year Slip right now and I’m loving it too! The Dead Romantics is one of my faves (I think it deserves way more attention than it gets) and this one so far is living up to the expectations I’ve put on it.

Thank you for the wrap up! My favorite book of August was The Only One Left by Riley Sager. Honestly it's probably one of my favorites of the year. I gave it 4.5 stars. I sometimes get nervous to reread favorite books. I don't want to start disliking books that meant so much to me. But honestly I might reread some next year just to see.
Thank you! I felt like the only person who didn't like Hello Stranger. I loooved The Bodyguard, but the heroine in this one was so immature and self-centered. When I got to the part where we learn she only feeds her dog random human food and won't give him dog food when he's elderly and sick (despite the vet recommending it) I was so over her.
“Waiting for the daughter to get a fking clue” I laughed so hard at that 😂😂 usually the Pekkanen/Hendricks books do nottt work for me so happy to skip that one
I have Silver Nitrate a 2. I was disappointed. I was very excited about that release.

I also read Pageboy in August and I was also confused by the non-chronological storytelling style, but I did like the memoir overall.
I read 11 books…favorites were Not So Perfect Strangers, Strange Sally Diamond and The Boyfriend Candidate.
Your review of A Twisted Love Story has me glad that I decided to DNF it after 100 pages. It's such a shame since I've also loved everything else that Samantha Downing has written.
Would love to hear your thoughts on Beware the Woman! It was a 5 ⭐️ for me and I haven’t heard any booktubers talk about it. It released this summer.

A very nice video.
I liked reading the Seven Year Slip and I did enjoy re-reading One True Loves Again, but her later books are better. She did grow as an author. I didn't like the movie. I felt like the movie just kept hoping too fast from scene to scene that I didn't care about either couple because it was like, Oh not their married. Okay. The editing was bad. Nothing was a aloud to breathe. 😬🤐
