- Welcome to vehicular combat…trail style! 1/64 scale Diecast post apocalyptic vehicles race to not be last in an all out dash down the Elevation Trail. Episode 1 introduces you to 6 drivers all vying to not only win…but stay alive! This is The Chowhound Open!
Some of these builds are so awesome. I bet unboxing them was a blast!
I was surprised by more than a few of them…the builders are continuing to step it up with every race! I’m just appreciative that y’all are supporting my crazy ideas!
Awesome ... awesome upgrades to the track, awesome tournament idea and participation, and great idea with the bonus points for reading the rules! Good luck everyone and be safe and stay clear of the DICS.

A lot of work…but that’s what I kinda strive for…take you builders out of the comfort zone a bit…have some more fun with the cars customizing them

Hahaha that technically difficulties got a good chuckle out of me, well at least beeks car lived up to its name tanking that fall. Can’t wait for future groups, loving this tournament
I dropped that thing down my stairs like 10 times, little mountain ain't gonna hurt it!
I caught the impact on the floor with the finish line cam…didn’t catch it in real time as I was following the other cars…when I panned back up the course I remember thinking “uh oh…”
@@905Diecast Honestly, i'm rather surprised it didn't drive off immediately every time. I knew those big tires were taller than your set allows, it was just...funny. XD
That’s what makes this kinda racing interesting…half of what happens I don’t catch until I go into editing the videos…
