excellent content Golgo-Metal, even though this show represents the "Light" it is also the beginning of their journey into the "Darkness" this show happened in December of 2017, the "Darkside" tour followed in May of 2018, in which they opened most of their shows with this song, but in a different way, for example in 2018 they had "Muscle-Metal" (two pro dancers) flanking SU and MOA who were positioned in the center, rotating back to front, all four ladies were wearing horned mask and robes with a warrior costumes, it was really cool to see and hear in person. which all culminated in October at the "Dark Knight Carnival" which represented the "Dark" this time SU and MOA were supported by five backup dancers, (the Chosen Seven Lore) where they had seven ladies in wild new costumes and even wilder hair with the horned mask and robes, and staffs with the eclipse symbol om top, the whole year was really amazing no wonder fans call it the year of hell, with the two major tragedies, (Mikio RIP) and YUI leaving. They persevered, and learned a lot about their fans. #notacult #bestcultever
Ty Maty-Metal! Kinda take for surprise that the show represent Light, but one can argue that light shine brighter in darkness.

First introduced in the band’s live performances around 2018, “IN THE NAME OF” acts as the introduction to the album’s second half.
Immediately setting the tone with dark choir vocals and bells, the song is a heavily influenced by the legendary thrash metal 🤘 band from Belo Horizonte Minas Gerais Brazil, "Sepultura-inspired chugfest dedicated to the Fox God namely Sepultura "Roots Bloody Roots", the deity that, per the band’s lore, created BABYMETAL and set them on the quest for world domination.

Death, es para los 16 años de Su-metal.
Esta canción fue la apertura para este concierto, es para sus 20 años, por eso el báculo con las dos xx
El nombre del concierto sería
Leyend S Baptism .
Fue en el 2017, a este concierto no se presentaría Yui, aunque esté conciertos se sintió extraño, fue impresionante como el público interpretó las partes de Yui.
El final de este concierto también es impresionante con Su siendo crucificado, pero esta vez entre llamas 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

No se porque no pensé que era dos X, se me hizo mas como una conjunción de la runa Inguz, que entre otras cosas significa nuevo comienzo. Aunque realmente con Babymetal, no me parecería extraño que tenga multi significado ese báculo.
No me parece extraño que el público haya ayudado, me parece que "The One" es uno de los público mas apasionados que he visto jeje.

Legend S Baptism XX was Su-metal's 20th birthday celebration, BABYMETAL's first shows in her home town Hiroshima.
'In The Name Of' was the introduction, the grand opening number and theatrical performance for the two shows they played there.
'BABYMETAL Death' was much later in the show - it was the penultimate song followed by an extended version of 'The ONE' for the finale.
As autohmae said, everybody in the crowd was given three 'sacred items' they had to wear - an XX pendant, a cloak with a hood and a mask with a light in the forehead like a third eye. It was those lights that lit up as Su brought her staff down.
I think these shows were the only ones where they had the fox soldiers - I didn't know if they were ever given a name by the fans but I see RoadRunner has said they called "minion kitsunes".

Yeah, I've never seen them outside of these two concerts. The hooded "not a cult"-members who did the start of this song at the 10 Babymetal Budokan shows, were just normal humans. 😂 or maybe these creatures in their human forms? 🤔🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻

Esta fue la épica puesta en escena del número de apertura de ambos conciertos de Legend S de 2017 en Hiroshima.
También representó el estreno mundial de la canción, que saldría en su próximo álbum Metal Galaxy casi dos años después.
Metal Galaxy tiene otro opener del lado luminoso llamado "Future Metal" que no te recomiendo. Mientras, "ITNO" representa el lado oscuro.
Acerca del sonido tribal, "ITNO" siempre me ha recordado al "Ratamahatta" de Sepultura... y eso me encanta!
Que yo sepa, los "minion kitsunes" no tienen un nombre específico, siempre los he escuchado por este nombre. De hecho aparte de las "Avengers", que son un nombre oficial, el resto de cuerpos de baile adicionales o extras en el escenario solo han sido nombrados extraoficialmente por los fans. Estos zorros solo aparecieron para estos dos shows.
"BABYMETAL Death" fue la canción número 15 y penúltima del set list de ambos conciertos mientras que "ITNO" fue el show opener.

Esa si es una canción para comenzar un concierto! Crea ambiente, tiene "eso" épico, que te muestra algo que probablemente no verás nunca más en la vida XD

En mi cabeza pensaría que era al revés, siendo que Death para mí era más lógico que fuese el inicio de algo. Quizás el viaje en la muerte hacia la resurrección para terminar con esta canción, donde Su renace desde dentro del Gran Zorro como una entidad nueva. Pero ahora que me dices, entiendo también esa lógica :D!

@@Golgohasht Correcto! La muerte y resurrección de Su-metal durante "BMD" eran el objetivo final del show (de nuevo) al igual que en Legend 1997. Y aquí sólo faltaba el número final, que fue una versión super especial y super épica de The ONE con la primera parte "unfinished" (en acústico) con las chicas luciendo unos vestidos y unos tocados espectaculares e igualmente únicos. Pero no estaba Yui y todo fue como medio raro... y, personalmente, no estoy preparado emocionalmente para volverlo a ver aún teniendo el Blu-ray... Parece una tontería pero ver este concierto fue una de las experiencias mas duras que recuerdo, quitando la perdida de seres queridos, claro está.

I'm totally in awe every time I see this. I have never seen a more epic show. I find it fascinating that there is this band having one of the most epic live performances in Rock music, and 90% of the world don't even know they exist. Makes me wonder what else is out there that we are not aware of.

Esta intro es súper epica y es la intro del concierto en homenaje al cumpleaños 20 de SuMetal en Hiroshima 2017, del mismo lugar donde viste No Rain No Rainbow y Babymetal Death hace poco.
No todos los miembros o personajes tienen nombre oficial, los soldados o esclavos kitsune son de esos. También vas a ver otros encapuchados que tocan los "tambores" en la versión Budokan 2021 que también es espectacular, recomendado cuando quieras revisar éste tema si te gusta.
A KobaMetal le gusta el metal brasilero así que tomó la idea de los tambores tribales de Sepultura para introducirlos en éste tema.
Parte de la letra de éste tema, más recitado que cantado, meciona "Queen" y además ésto:

This was the first time Babymetal used a moving platform like this. In some sense it was supposed to be the biggest show/production Babymetal could do for an audience at that size.
This was Su-metal's 20th birthday show in her home town of Hiroshima, she had said she wanted to come back to her home town some day to show how much she had grown as an artist/performer. The choice in venue in Hiroshima was between this 'smaller' venue, aka arena of little less than 10 0000 or a huge stadium Babymetal can't sell out. This important 1 time event (well, 2 days, same show), the tickets were not cheap of course.
This was the opening of the concert, the red lights that light up at 4:58 are masks, the audience has 'sacred items' they had to wear, a mask, necklace and cloak.
Harsh vocals are from the studio, they might very well also have been manipulated to 'get a sound' of what they want.
You'd almost expect the lyrics to be: "roots, bloody roots" 🙂
Quick correction if that is OK - the lights were like a third eye in the masks at Legend S, the third 'sacred item' was an XX pendant rather than a neck brace.

Legend-S was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Suzuki (December 2017), and was held in her hometown of Hiroshima. This was the first performance without Yui. At that time, she had not yet officially left the band, but she was no longer performing.
What a birthday party I must say! Truly epic indeed.

This song is meant as an intro. On the complete Japanese version of "Metal Galaxy" the album was divided into two parts, where "Future Metal" was the intro for the first (light) part, and this was the intro for the second (dark) part. Hence no vocals from Su. This was from her 20th birthday. Baptism XX. The first show where in the last minute, they had to decide to carry on just Su and Moa, since Yui was advised not to perform by her doctor. The show is still amazing, and one of my faves, even though they didn't have any time to reconfigure the choreo or account for the lack of Yuis vocals. Thankfully The One came through and helped sing alot of her parts. Really heart warming.

Excelente video y reaccion como siempre, este blu ray me lo compre el 2020 y debo decir que lo he visto maximo 3 veces, el concierto es espectacular pero al ser el ultimo de Mikio en la guitarra antes de fallecer y el primero sin Yui y solo Su y Moa actuando se me hace dificil de ver.

Siempre tienes un ojo increíble para detectar y analizar los elementos teatrales en los conciertos de BABYMETAL.
Tienes razón. Es de sus conciertos más teatrales (sino el que más), y también uno de mis favoritos.
Si algún día tienes el tiempo de verlo completo te lo recomiendo muchísimo. Es una pieza de arte por sí sola. Construyeron una narrativa satisfactoria de inicio a fin.
El concierto en sí es la historia, muy relacionado a lo que hablas sobre Su apareciendo como una profeta o mesías. También contrasta bastante con lo que ocurre en muchos de sus otros conciertos en donde el "lore" o los momentos narrativos están contados en pequeños videos antes de una canción.
Legend S no es así. Diría que es lo más cercano al teatro que han creado. No sólo es intrigante y emocionante, pero también es bellísimo y su historia logra moverte.
Espero puedas verlo y nos cuentes qué tal te pareció y tus interpretaciones al respecto!

Este concierto es super completo, literal te cuentan una historia de inicio a fin, los guturales de fondo para el lore es the fox god quien ayuda a las niñas con liricas del inframundo (?) o eso es lo que la mayoria cree y me gusta cree a mi también.
Luego de esa intro (ya que in the name of es una intro) comienza con IDZ el concierto.. asi que ahi te respondi tu primera pregunta, es el comienzo del concierto xd
Death es la penultima canción donde se sacrifica Su y vuelve a renacer con un nuevo comienzo.. En Japón le gusta bastante ese lore del morir de una etapa y el renacer de otro o a koba singularmente... luego de esa canción viene The One y justamente sale tal cual mencionas en 9:50, te spoileaste solo jaja

Tienen todo un concepto atrás, que siempre me ha gustado en la bandas. Que separa también el tocar música, con el show y crear una historia como dices. O una mitología de la banda. Que Babymetal hace súper bien.
