She had emotional difficulty to sing it live until their latest tour 2022 /2023.
She did it terrific.

Back in 2000, Psychology Today had an article that stated 1 in 4 Americans are mentally ill and not being treated. Today I think that is probably 1 in 3 Americans. Samantha is a wonderful singer. Can't understand her but that's on me for not learning Dutch.
Its a scandal that so many people dont get the help needed. We all need to take care and try to help people if possible.

Good thing you're giving attention to Mental Health Awareness Month. I'm closely familiar with the topic and feel that it's about time we here in the West start treating mental health with the same level of attention and respect as physical health has been treated in most parts of the world, for thousands of years. Samantha took an emotionally powerful song and turned it into an equally impacting Dutch rendition of it. A job well done. As for pronunciation, you almost got it right. The 'ee' in 'Steenwijk' is the same as in 'Heesters', so now you should be able to get it right as I've included Emma's name in your second lesson. 😉The second syllable in 'Steenwijk' sounds like 'ey' in 'hey' (it's a phonetic approximation). The title was close to perfect as only the last two words were a little off. Here 'bij' again sounds the same as in 'hey' and 'jou' is like the 'ou' in 'route'. So, pretty good attempt here, Susan! Yes, I saw your Nemo reaction, yesterday, and I went over to William's channel and subbed to him. Apparently he didn't know that you'd mentioned him in that video, and he was very surprised to hear that. He was also so very kind as to sub me back! He's now my fourth subscriber and I'm so happy to have him, as I've been starting up my own channel here in the past few weeks, like I told you in my comment below that video. I was just wondering Sue - have you heard the original Nightwish version? They hadn't performed it live when Samantha performed it for Floor here! She did such a wonderful job too didn't she. Floor sang Samantha's song 'Mama' to her when it was Samantha's evening! Both singing about the importance of Parents and that everlasting bond - My Dad passed away nearly 6 years ago and I still feel a very strong bond and presence - which of course is very comforting. Give my best wishes to the Wolfman and take good care of yourself 😊

I'm ok thanks - I'm definitely not moaning when I say this - it's purely to put things in context - but I have Epilepsy (mostly well controlled by medication) but it has always affected me mentally, and one of the ways I get over that is to watch people like you and the Wolfman discover NW (for example) and to see your faces light up in wonderment does me the world of good! I do feel a little selfish though as I'm not able to reciprocate! I was lucky enough to see one of your favourites a few weeks ago, Tommy and Sabaton who were ofc very good. Apart from NW , Babymetal kept me sane through a very difficult time in Lockdown (they were special guests of Sabaton at Wembley) - not sure if you've ever covered Babymetal but I defy you both NOT to smile when you watch them perform 'Papaya'. Sorry to go off on a tangent, just very passionate about bands of which I have a number to recommend. Hope you don't mind. God bless and best wishes to you both!
