  • Ali Messinger '22 speaks about her work and artistic process. Ali creates realistic artworks inspired by the world around her, 19th century painting, and the art of her grandfather. Through her artwork, Ali captures the beauty of life through her delicate style. Her paintings go through many iterations, building intuitively before she reaches the final product. Ali was the recipient of the Richard Goldberg Award, given to a student with a sensitive interpretation of an artistic vision.
This series was created in conjunction with the Berman's "Annual Student Exhibition 2022." The ASE showcases the work made by art students and majors in the disciplines of painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, mixed media and photography.
