In this video, I'll be sharing my thoughts and experience with the Wurkkos FC11 flashlight. After a week of using it, I can confidently say that it's a solid little EDC work light. It's easily pocketable and features a magnetic tail cap, making it useful for hands-free operation. I'll also be discussing the overall construction, LED, lens, bezel, and reflector, as well as its UI, modes, and performance, including a comparison with other lights. Stay tuned to hear my considerations and final verdict on this affordable and versatile flashlight.
This light was provided as a sample by Wurkkos for review. I was not paid to make this video review. All opinions are my own.

Wurkkos FC11 Video Transcript:
General thoughts after a week of usage/size comparison/practicality/interesting things:
• This is a solid little EDC work light, with high CRI. Wurkkos make this one in different colors too!
• It's easily pocketable and though the side switch is firm and requires a little extra force to press, I would still lock this light out.
Overall Construction, LED, lens, bezel, and reflector
• Well constructed considering the price. I found a surprising feature - the tail cap has a magnet! This will make it useful when working under a car or area where you want a hands-free operation.
• LH351D LED - you can get it with 4000 or 5000K. I suggest the 5000K model if you want the best color accuracy.
• OP lens as expected with this LED. AR glass lens. Bezel sits flush with the rest of the body.
• Unable to disassemble.
• 18650 included.
• Comparison with other lights.
UI - modes
• Demonstration. Stepped vs smooth ramp. Lockout.
Performance - total output, beam profile, longevity, practicality
• CCT, CRI, Ceiling bounce test
• Nice, even beam, mostly floody.
Considerations
• Hard for me to fault this one. The magnet came loose on my green one. I just took the spring out and found it wasn't glued in properly. So I just re-glued it and all good.
• Moonlight mode is still a bit too bright for my liking. I prefer something like 1-5 lumens.
Verdict
A solid EDC light with great CRI. You can use it as a walking light, or work light - it's quite versatile while being affordable and pocketable. Comes with everything you need in the box too. - Věda a technologie

The FC11 is without a doubt my favorite flashlight. Perfect for in the house with the flooded beam and warm color. I don't believe that one light suits all. The throw is not adequate for outside. The FC12 is better for distance and I also have the FC12. For the ultimate long distance, I have two Sofirn IF22A's. I have a black one and a silver one. The silver one is the first light that my wife grabs when she goes outside after dark. The larger battery is also a big plus.
Yep, can't get everything in one light, there's always some compromise :D
I wish the TD02 had the FC11 switch and UI, that would be amazing!
Yeah, the TD02 was my least favourite of that series.
Hi Darren! I just ordered my FC11 today with the Nichia 519A 5000K with a battery sent to my doorstep for $18.80 USD. What a deal! Looking forward to your review.
That's awesome Gus, that's my preferred model as well - the 5000K portrays colours more accurately and to me seems a bit brighter? Great bargain.
@@DarrenYeoYT For sure! I was checking out a few of my torches today with the 5000K LH351D emitters and definitely noticed a slight green tint which will be absent in the Nichia 519A 5000K model.
I was also compared the 5000K LH351D emitter against the 5000K XHP 70.2 emitter in my Sofirn SP33S flashlight and was impressed on how neutral the color was on the XHP 70.2. I did not detect any green tint on the Cree emitter.
They should really give this an anduril 2 ui. Low to medium is a huge jump in my opinion. I like this like so much i got 4 and 5k versions 😅 and they definitely have longer runtimes compared to convoy s2+ with 519 led. The fc11 has a more distinct hotspot. But the convoy has more flood. Both fantastic value lights
Some smaller steps would be nicer on the FC11. I'm not a huge fan of anduril these days, prefer a simple UI.
I have both of these lights to the exact just like yours. For me for the most part, I prefer the 4000K over the 5000K for most uses. I do though use my 5000K version more. I have an S2+ with 5000K 519A and I prefer that LED to the LH351D in the FC11. It seems the Nichia renders the colors a little better the the FC11, as the is more green apparent in the beam. I do like and use them all, however, I would recommend that any future buyers for the FC11 opt for the Nichia emitter if the interest is for that light. Good review as always.
Thank you Jack, I use the 5000K more as colours appear more accurate to me :D it's a nice EDC. Just glad it's not using an SST40!
I prefer the 4000k you can use it in foggy area/forest
Yeah good point!
Hi Darren.
I am planning to buy my first FL with a high CRI rating.
Can you recommend a certain model from wurkkos / sofirn ?
TIA and more power
FC11 is a great choice man. Just make sure the LED is either the Nichia 519A or Samsung LH351D. Those are all high CRI LEDs that produce decent output as well. There is also the Wurrkos TS10 that has high CRI LEDs too (3x CSP?)
@@DarrenYeoYT
Thank you very much Darren.
More power bro !!!
@@marlonsalugao6272 thanks Marlon good luck mate
Hi, would you recommed the model with LH351D or 519A emitter? They both seem very similar.
I prefer the 519A as I end up de-doming them for a warmer tint and increased throw. But yeah similar specs.
@@DarrenYeoYT Ok thank you!
Hi, my FC11 Nichia 519A is getting very warm after 2-3 minutes in high mode (700 lumens) so that I no longer want hold it in my hand. is that normal? a flashlight that can only be used in low and mid mode? The LH351D would probably have been the better option.
Thanks for your work. 🙂
Yeah that can happen, is it too hot to hold down the back of the battery tube though? Wurkkos usually have a big step down so it should start to cool down.
@@DarrenYeoYT I should have informed myself better. The high mode is too high for my taste. It would have been better to choose a high-level of 550-600 that could be hold permanently. 700 (high) and step down to ~450 maybe is not a very good choice. but okay, I'll deal with it. The surface temperature at the front is almost 45 degrees until it reduces automatically. Thanks for the answer.
Does it have memory?
Yes it does
Gave you a thums up just for your effort to make this vid, sorry i only like 6500k tint, but you can't please every one hey !
Thank you mate! I didn't know there was a 6500K one :D
Poggers
The FC12 is about the same price
Yep, I'd buy the FC12 over this but the FC11 is also a different light with more of a floody beam :)
