      @@glenngastonjonsson7954 Ofc its important if we are talking about barriers. The only real barrier that exists and will persist to exist if we don't willingly fight it is that of skin color. Barriers between countries are all superficial and kids won't see them. Meanwhile dark colored skin kids gets called all sort of names in kindergarden. That's why its of outmost importance to mix kids early.

    • @Aikisbest
      @Aikisbest Před 8 měsíci

      Which is also kind of bullshit and also a cultural thing rather than something intrensic, to me, small kids calling peoples of other colours names is completely foreign and certainly racism on the whole is not the only problem that needs solving in the world? @@woodwardscreditcard7482
      EDIT: Oh, I see now that you are the one who actually made the original (quite irrelevant) claim, oh well. The only possible case of racism I see here is your "Bullshit! They are all white" comment, whatever you are trying to imply with it.
      If you excuse my bluntness, I'm going to take a guess you wouldn't have said a single word had they all been "black" instead.
      Now, what I was originally going to comment to the OP:
      I would rather say it is why we can say that this sport in particular breaks down barriers, and the sportsmanship they show eachother deserves only praise in any case!

      @@woodwardscreditcard7482 This guy has been trained from the age of 5 to become the best in the world. At the time, it was the best pole vault competition ever. Bullshitting that is very disrespectful. Since I don't know what country you're from, I can't argue about the circumstances people of different colours can pursue the sport they like. In Sweden, the second best pole vaulter ever is Alhaji Jeng, of african origin.

So you really have to get perfect wind and temperature conditions to go for a new record. And I think it's also depending on how many jumps you already did up to that moment. When you skipped a few heights and got everything on the first try you have more energy left to try again for more height
