Thumbs up for the bolt/adapter idea! Way simpler than the keyway method!

Great video! This definitely seems like a user-friendly method. Everyone had different levels of experience and equipment…but most peeps in this hobby are used to working with what they have to connect the dots.

You can also grind away a little bit of each side to get a tighter fit around the hub.

I had an even smaller diameter hub and had to ditch the hub adapter all together. I did what would be considered a no no in the fact that I welded the sprocket directly to the outside of the hub. It does have a tiny bit of wobble, But only due to too much heat from the weld without proper cool down time. Other than that it pulls smoothly and hasn't even tried to come off. Also not enough side to side to create any ware on the chain, So all good for the time being. I wouldn't suggest doing this method, Especially if you ever want to change the sprocket, As you would half to grind off the welds first. It does work though and never slips! Nice video Tony, Keep up the great work with your videos.

Glad to see your not letting your frustration or stress show like I've seen before in the past because getting like that just puts off a negative vibe. Which isn't such a good thing when you have customers watching and you have a business to run. But you know and understand that bikeberry dude because I can tell by your whole change of attitude and demeanor. I'm just pointing that out for the younger guys to understand just Incase they might wanna start their own motorized bike or business in general one day.

Also for good results burr the inside of the adapter where it touched the hub shave the ends so ya have more squeeze room and upgrade to longer bolts and add nuts at the end they tend to back out on ya even w thread lock and 100% make absolute sure that it’s true and level

I would like to see you connect the back sprocket from the inside of the wheel hub just like how the sprocket is on the right side

Dont use a 5/16 drill bit for a 5/16 tap. It is too big and you won't get any threads. Do the research first on what you will need if you are a first-timer.

I still prefer the old friction drive.
