Such an impressive piece to be played with four hands!
I wish I were able to play the piano like that but I'm nowhere near their abilities :(
The performance is stellar, but sadly the sound is recorded a bit too small.

I'm not a pianist but I'm curious to ask, why do he use his left hand to go on the right ?
so that the left hand didn't have as much to do, I think? idk though
also, as the right and left hands are mirror images of each other, some melodies are easier to play on one hand
The right hand has a pattern and it would be awkward to switch the pattern between hands
It would also create two jumps in both hands instead of one jump in only the left hand
Sounds a bit old hat
