- Without a doubt one of the worst things I've ever done on a car... but just wait. The installation of the new box wasn't any easier... LOL!
I've actually had the manual swap done for 3 weeks now and it's a totally different car. The only issue is some clutch slip which I'm trying to fix. This will become more clear in the videos to come!

I spent the run up to Christmas changing the clutch on an is200 - spent an entire day (sun up to sun down) just getting those bolts out. Talk about beginning to regret even starting the job! All done now though :-)

Honestly, this should be more common with these cars. I love the is200/300s! But get ruined by automatic gearboxes! 😠
The auto is nice if you just want a daily cruiser. But if you want fun, you need a manual... sequential, or even a DSG tbh.

I’m still working on part 5. I’m 1 hour and 5 mins into the edit with probably 30 mins to go maybe? 🤔 It’s going to be a long one and it’s really tedious to edit. I’ll get it out as fast as I can. I’ve actually sold the car now and I’ve bought a GS430! 😅
@@shizukesajdm Looking forward to it mate! What was your reason for the sell and GS430 (well I know why you'd buy a 430, they're brilliant) but why sell the is300 after all the blood sweat and tears? 😂also did you break even or make a profit potentially by doing the manual swap in the end?

Hey I know these videos are from a while back just having some issues when I drive at low speeds car is fine but as soon as I put the foot down it slips clutch kit is from conceptua tuning, I heard of a plate to go behind clutch pedal just wondering if you had this issue
I did have my clutch slip… but I’ve since sold the car, sorry. I didn’t get to the bottom of it. I think I burned the clutch out though by flooring it too soon!
Hi mate, hope you and your Lexus are doing good. I managed to find the correct OEM Coil spring colours for the Front and Rear. Anyway please could you tell me what the OEM Air Filter Part number is for the IS300? Not stated in your description. Thank you

Nope. Unfortunately it no longer works due to the way the ECU needs to be reprogrammed. I miss it, dearly 🤣
