For anyone who is wondering this is a wonderful recipe! Probably the best we have tried. His way of doing it makes it so that there aren't any bubbles or "foam" in the gummies. Thanks again for the recipe!
Finally a tutorial that tells you exactly how much plain gelatin and Jello brand powder vs water to add. Thanks for getting straight to the point, and not making us watch and listen to you talk about a bunch of other things. Awesome video.😊
Hi there ! 🙂 Thanks so much for your kind words ! I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. I love to know exact amounts when making any recipe, if you don't have them, you just can't replicate something perfectly over and over again. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊
1/2 cup cold water + 1 packet gelatin
Let bloom for 5 minutes
Stir with fork
Add 1/4 water (3/4cup total)
Microwave for 1 min or until hot
Add jello mix

I like how you keep reminding us of the recipe on the screen. So thoughtful!
Hi Dani, thanks so much for watching !
For anyone wondering I did this with the 6oz box of jello and 2 packs of gelatin and 1 1/2 cup of water on the stove and it make 470ml of liquid so if you have mini bears like me they are 1ml each then you will either have to buy 2 packs of the gummy molds to get 400 gummies or just make have a box of you have the 6oz box for the mini bears
I love how detailed your videos are . 😊 most cooking channels skip through things and I don't know what to do later on

I'm making these and adding 7 drops of Bach's Rescue Remedy in each for my little girl who gets very anxious. The Rescue Remedy usually calms her down when she gets panicky. Giving it to her in gummi form will be much easier! 😁

I really like the way you explain your Recipes. Thank you very much. This is my first time trying out these Recipes. I just started making Reese Peanut Butter Bars and it was a challenge I haven't tried them yet and I am looking forward of tasting what i had made and i hope it comes out good, And i had made some homemade Almond joys. I just love your Recipes
I used a recipe I found for "Knox blocks" which calls for 3-3oz. packages of Jello, 4 of unflavored gelatin, and 4 cups of water. This is the same as the recipe for Jello gigglers. I wanted to be sure so I used one extra UG. I used Cherry flavored Jello. I substituted 1/2 cup concentrated cranberry juice and 1/2 cup concord grape juice for the last cup of water. It came out perfect in consistency and the flavor is delicious. Better than I expected!!! Thanks for your video!!!:)
Vickie Still Hi Vickie, wow that was a mouthful LOL. Not sure what a "UG" is, but I'm glad you were able to do whatever you wanted and it worked for you. If my video recipe inspired you, then that's great, so thank you for watching, I appreciate it.

Hi Kat 🙂 My pleasure 😊 So glad your grandchildren are enjoying them ! I never thought this recipe would be so popular, it was just something I make and thought I should film it. Glad it was interesting enough that you decided to try it ! Thanks so much for watching ! 😊
Hi there. Way easier than what I've gone through, making gummies from scratch with bone broth, juice and powdered gelatin. Mine might be healthier (I do it for the extra protein, not for the flavor so much) but yours guarantees a sweet taste, every batch. BTW: I bought a 100cc disposable syringe on Amazon, which makes it easy to fill my molds. I use a mold that's shaped like a gum drop when they pop out (flat on the bottom) and each gummy holds 5cc (1 tsp). Each mold holds 24 gummies, and I make a batch that fills 4 molds. Around 2 cups of liquid will fill 4 molds. (I only have 2 molds, so after one batch sets, I pop them out, place them in a glass jar, and use the remaining cup of liquid for 2 more molds.) If you don't use jello, don't be surprised that the flavor will be kind of weak. Use plenty of sweetener so they'll at least be sweet if not flavorful. Juice isn't quite concentrated enough to satisfy like jello does. Good luck!
Is it OK to use a bigger package (170g) of flavored jello
This looks so easy, cant wait to try it!!! Thank you for sharing with us!!

How much of additional gelatine, how much of sugar and other ingredients do I need to use if I don't have Jello ?

+random land Hi random land, thanks for watching :-)
Cold water didnt worked but when i tried it with boiling water it clumped up but i kept mixing and got rid of the clumps and it firmed up pretty nicely
+BudgetBuild When working with gelatin, you must always add it to a cold liquid first. This is called "blooming" your gelatin. Do not dump it in all at once so that it clumps up... pour slowly so that it dispurses over the volume of liquid. It will spread out all over the surface. Let it stand..... until it looks dissolved. 5 to 10 minutes. It is at that point you must start to introduce heat into the gelatin.
Best tutorials very detailed love them thank you from Chicago! BakeLikeAPro

Oh how awesome do they look Mark! I love this and it's so easy. I love that mould, can you buy it online? Thank you for showing this
FitAnge S Hi Angie, I bought that mold from Amazon. It's made by ThinkGeek. I will admit it was a bit expensive, but it's a well made mold. A fun one to do, and for children the gummy bears make it much more exciting. I played around with several mixture ratios before I was happy with the one in my recipe, so you can be sure it works. As u know, I won't post something I don't have 100% confidence in. Anyway, thanks for watching :-) Have a great day...... tomorrow ! :-)

Hi John ! Glad it was helpful! Thanks for visiting my CZcams channel ! 👍😁
yes I know that this is old but my question is do you have to add more gelatin
yes
I made these but I added a tsp of already dissolved potassium so rate to keep them fresh. Thank you for this. Awesome!
Hi Barbara ! Thanks so much for watching ! 😁 Please tell me more about dissolving potassium into these, what are the benefits ? I've never heard of this, so am very curious and want to learn
@@BakeLikeAPro order it from Amazon. You dissolve 1 part to 2 parts water then when you are ready to mix it in your jello mixture I added 1 tsp. So I added 1 tsp to your recipe here. It helps to preserve the gummies. You can use it in many recipes. It is best known for use in beer and wine. I might add that it does not affect the taste
Can you post a link to where I can buy the gummy bear molds? Thank you.
Hi! If I wanted to add a second gelatin packet to add firmness, would I have to keep the same amount of water? I'm assuming so for extra firmness, but I just want to make sure. Thank you!
The more gelatin you add the more firm it would be.

Hi Rodney ! 😁 Thanks so much for watching !
Do they need to be stored in the fridge when done?
I have a tart and sour fruit flavor enhancer can I used that to make my gummies sour? Or is there a better method?
Blessed4infinity Hi Blessed4infinity, you can add that too. You can also purchase sour sugar, which you can sprinkle into the mixture, or into the each mold before you let them set. Either way, a great idea to turn them into sour gummies :-)
As always, another great recipe! Thank you.

how long can we store these before they expire ?
Loved it! How long does the liquid at the jar stays liquid, my mold is a bit small. Thank yoy
I can't say exactly how long, but it will not solidify quickly. It takes a long time. Do not stand and wait for it to harden
do you need to put more unflavored gelatin.if yes.how much?
God bless this man...
Liv Flamingo Hi there, thanks for watching :-)
Im going to try cinnamon with unflavored jello...do these melt at room temp like jello would (sort of)?
Hi Larry, they do not melt, but will become sticky to the touch. Best way I've found is to keep them in the fridge. You can also do a great trick candy makers use, and that's corn starch that you use for baking ( it's a white powder ) Candy makers will actually use this as molds for candy. They imprint the cornstarch they have put into large squares which is patted down until firm, then press their master mold into the cornstarch and then pour the candy. Anyway, same thing, you can coat them with that if you wish. A tiny bit. Anything else would melt ( like powdered sugar ) I hope this helps and thanks for watching ! That cinnamon is an interesting touch, kind of reminds me of those tiny red hearts ( candy) they sell around Valentine's Day. I love those. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊
I can't find this type of good looking gummy bear molds. I can't order to my country from amazon cause its not supported. I cant find it on aliexpress aswell... I also dont have corn syrup in my country and they candy breaks easily from any mold i have. where did you find your mold?
I purchased this mold from a company that no longer exists, but they are available on Amazon. That is surprising that Amazon doesn't deliver to your country. Hopefully in the future they will include your country to make purchasing online much easier.
Mine are good just I added too much unflavored and even though it says unflavored it really is flavored and it tastes bad
Super clear nice work!

Thank you for sharing!!! Why would this video get 18 dislikes?? Maybe 18 people were horrified that you decapitated the Gummy Bear on camera!! I have to get one of those Gummy Bear molds!!
😂🤣😂🤣👏👏👏
OR it could be the fact that the gummy bears were more Jello than an actual gummy bear. But I’m going to adjust my ingredients since he shows the best easy instructions how to make gummy bears. I’m going to add 3 Tbsps to see if that works better for me. So, I think people out trying to make this found it too difficult & disliked it.😂🤣🤷🏽♀️
@@lorton1971 Did it work better for you? What was the ratio?
I wonder what happened to LO, maybe fell asleep or something.
Not a big fan of candy in general but its cool to understand all it takes is how you make jello with one addition ingrediant the gelatin to make gummy based candy. The shapes and molds can be endless and as big /small as you want or artistic as you want.
Or one can sprinkle flour mixed with sugar on top of the gummy bears to have the sugar coating look
Hi, i do not have jell- O. How many gram galetin and siro of fruit should i add in your receipt? Waiting your feed back and thanks in advance.
Hi Thắm Trần 🙂 There are 2 1/2 Teaspoons of gelatin in a box of Jell-O. So you don't have any problems, I would suggest you double the amount of gelatin you see in my video. 1 Tablespoon is approx. 10 grams ( if you are weighing your gelatin ) so double it to 20 grams. IF you are measuring by Tablespoons, use 2 Tablespoons. Please reply to me if I wasn't 100% clear with my help and I'll try again. Thanks so much for watching !
