The Versova-Bandra Sea Link (VBSL) is an under construction bridge in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The 17.17 kilometre bridge will connect Versova, a neighbourhood in the suburb of Andheri to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Bandra, as part of the Coastal Road. The 8-lane sea link is expected to reduce congestion on the Western Express Highway and the Western Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway.
The main sea link bridge is 9.60 km (5.97 mi) in length with 4 lanes in each direction. It also houses a 24-lane toll plaza. Connectors on either end of the main bridge link it with Bandra and Versova. The Bandra connector is 1.17 km in length with 2 lanes in each direction, while the Versova connector is 1.80 km in length with 3 lanes in each direction. The Versova connector also houses an 18-lane toll plaza.
The main sea link bridge also has two interchanges connecting it with Carter Road and Juhu Koliwada. The Carter Road connector is 1.80 km in length, has 3 lanes in each direction and houses an 18-lane toll plaza. The Juhu Koliwada connector is 2.80 km in length, has 2 lanes in each direction and houses a 12-lane toll plaza.
The Financial Express reported that the cost of the project would likely escalate to ₹11,332.81 crore (US$1.4 billion) by 2023. Estimated Deadline of this project is 2027.

Don't use terms like controversial...We have already lost 60 precious years of basic development..
You're pro infra development channel & not anti development woke & fake propoganda channel, therefore there's no need to give F's to anyone or clickbate the videos by using such terminologies...
You're doing excellent work by making people aware of bharat's development..

Everything is controversial in India. Anti development people do propoganda and make everything controversial. We have Dubai and China all doing developement like this is not controversial, the moment we do it's against environment and what not. Maldives turned Maldives and develop all islands, Bali, sychelles, Mauritius, Singapore all did same. But the moment we develop lakshyadweep or Andaman Nicobar islands to develop it like Maldives all anti development foriegn paid NGO will cry environment and other fabricated propoganda

Whole world is moving away from expressways in cities to better mass transit and walkable and bikeable streets. More highways and expressways will mean more people will utilize personal vehicles. Mumbai should use this money add more underground metros, flood the streets with electric buses and double down on bike lanes and walkable sidewalks. Once these are done, introduce congestion charge to discourage motorists and encourage public transport.

Yes bro you are right yeh sab fake environmentalist hai jo ki foreign funded hote hai humare country ke development ko rokne ke liye unko funds china se milte hai because China sees india as a threat to its position.
