why no one using OD meteor hammer build? that shit is op when no supports are coming.
there are actually many really really strong heroes for such a matchup... and I think Pugna is one of them.
Just almost none of those heroes are being played in normal dota in mid, since there are other things needed in a midlaner than simply winning the lane.
Void Spirit is a good example. Yes - he's a good midlaner, but not because he wins mid, but because of what he can do once he is lvl 6. Shadow fiend is also a quite bad pick tbh.
Quite sure, depending on the opposing hero, the best heroes will be smth like OD, Pugna, Veno, Bane, Viper, Lina, Batrider, LD, DP, and so on. Against melee (the LS or the Ursa) I would immediately think of Tide or Timber.
And instead we have to suffer through SF, VS and even fucking Phoenix

HoN is so much better than dota. I wish hon would've gotten even a fraction of the production value and marketing that dota gets. I miss playing it. Dota is far too unbalanced and obnoxious to enjoy, I uninstalled after a few hundred hours of play.

They are pro for a reason, they know all the minute details, so to answer your question, 2k loses no matter what they pick.
