Brooke mentioned that she and her team had big plans for bigger staging but due to it being a small stage the couldn’t. However now it’s going to Eurovision they can 😯 ❤️
She has been on the voice and her coach was megan trainer uk we can vote for Ireland to get thought to the semi final 2 on Thursday of Eurovision I love this song it may not be a winner song but it does deserve to get good through I have a gut feeling that semi final 2 is going to be so tough. Great song from Ireland.
Semi 2 is the easier semi
She was robbed
It got 12 points from the UK televote 💕
It's crazy how songs can change when they are performed. I had only heard the studio version and HATED the song, but now hearing it live I like it way more
Brooke did very well on the voice UK a few years ago. She turned all 4 chairs and was mentored by Meghan Trainor. Please have a look at her first performance of bruises on the voice UK.
Being from Ireland this entry is one of the best we have had in years. It's modern and will do very well across Europe. Best of luck Brooke we are rooting for you xx
Unfortunately it didnt...mystic David 😉
I love her cute smile at the end of the middle 8 before it goes back to the chorus.
I like this. One of our best songs in years. (Greetings from Ireland ☘️)
It needs a lot of work but I’m sure we will fix all that when it come to Eurovision. The Late Late studio isn’t an appropriate place for a song contest so we can’t fully appreciate the performance yet. Very hopeful we can do well after last years disaster.
Totally agree with you! The sound production on the Late Late show can be average at best! It doesn't represent how she could sound on the big Eurovision stage but I think a few tweaks will fix that because it's actually quite good! They need more dancers also and to up the theatrics for the vibe and fun element of the song, to give it more energy. Hopefully we'll rank far better this year than past years efforts! 🙌🤞🤞
It's growing on me for sure. It's fun!
It's a great pop song and it hooks you right in from the start. I think it will the dark horse of the competition. It could very well win it, but if it doesn't, you can be rest assured it will be a Top 10 hit in many EU countries. Brooke also wrote the song herself 👏
A great chance for Ireland to qualify - they'll have Malta, Australia and UK voting in their semi-final, which may help enormously - but it's catchy and kitchy enough to attract votes from all across Europe.
We LOVED her in Australia! She got 8 points from us on the televote!
I loved her on the Voice UK so happy we get to see her on the Eurovision song! Great song, maybe needs a slight revamp, and excited to see the staging as she said she had big plans
I really love Ireland's entry, currently my 2nd place. :>
I adore this song, but today I woke up in the middle of the night and my mind decided to put on repeat "That's rich...bye bye fool" and I couldn't go back to sleep for almost an hour. So I'm not sure if I still adore it LOL
That happened to me too 😂😂😂
This is our best Eurovision entry in while I think.
last year better, 2020 better, 2018 better 2017 better 2016 better 2015 better.... I really dont like this, sry
@@anabela_.7501 it's so fun! All of our recent entries have been so bland imo and I feel like if they go bigger on the staging for the real thing it will have a good chance of doing well.
I love this! People are seriously sleeping on it.
Since 2018 definitely. Maybe even further back, depends how it’s performed.
It definitely is our best
By the way Ireland has only sang in Irish once in (adult) Eurovision.. and that was in 1972 😂
I love how positive you are and still give constructive criticism. Brooke is talented and I think needs to focus on the “ Tahts rich” parts as they were a bit patchy
Love Brooke so much ❤ Thats Rich 🤑 🇮🇪 🇮🇪
Finally Ireland send something modern - Hallelujah!
Watching you be-bop is the best!!
the real winner of 2022 ❤
I was thinking last year when you reviewed Loco Loco, gosh I cant wait for her to see Zorja next year! And here we are!!!
Love her voice so much 😍😍
Another Derry girl representing Ireland and don’t forget the first one Dana won it for Ireland for the first time
im getting junior eurovision... i agree she needs something more to elavate it , good luck
I agree it needs more, but to be fair that level of staging is incredible as far as RTÉ standards go. So hopefully in Turin we’ll have amazing staging to really elevate the song.
Brooke’s charisma is great and she can perform well so I’m not worried about qualifying 🥳🇮🇪
It will be revamped - I’m Irish I’m hoping the Uk get behind us we need to support each other or we will both languish at the bottom of the sea
Do we have official confirmation that its being revamped? I want it to and think it needs to but havent heard yet!
@@cathalsheehan9596 it’s been revamped, and now on Spotify. There’s a new pause after “stupid” and double the beat and drums near the end to add more of a build
Love u!
I love it
I’m Irish . Love her voice, hate the song. Disappointing entry from us but what’s new 😂
I love this song 😂🥰
Good overall performance; staging needs work but I am sure it will be fine at Eurovision 2022.
It's better than last year but can't say I'm a fan. I don't even know if it will qualify.
I've become quite addicted to this song. But I agree with you yes, it hints at a visually kpop thing, but it does need dialling up to be convincing. She needs to 100% commit to the stylised kitsch.
No, you are so cute❤️ Our lovely honest vocal coach
I really hope she does well in ESC. If we’re gonna qualify to the final, it will be this year. We have all of our friendly countries except for two this year. Plus the song has huge potential.
Ireland is great this year! Also I wouldn't mind some of that cash from the music video.. 🤑
Unpopular: this song will be a Q in Eurovision. Her attitude is everything, the song is not bad either.
It is currently the song I like the least but it's really catchy. Anyway, my top isn't complete, obviously, and it's not carved into stone. It can change a lot until the very end.
I am the only one that loved this song?
Not winner but a good songi good performance. Solid candidate for 10-15 range in the finals
I think it's a nice song, it deserves the final more than other songs. A good electropop song and she is pretty enough to perform on the stage of ESC2022.
If that's the best we have then we're all out of luck
Ukulalela umculo omnandi kungashukumisa ingqondo, okubuye kubangele ukukhululwa kwama-endorphin njenge-dopamine ebuchosheni bethu. Ukulalela umculo omnandi kungashukumisa ingqondo, okubangela lokho
the entry sounds like the roop's discotheque
The 'videos like this one!' has returned 😉.
OMG the song is woeful!
Just desperate , what an embarrassment!
My favourite song at the moment (ESC and in general) 🇮🇪🔥. It’s been confirmed that this song is being revamped. It will qualify 100% with the song, semi-final voters and performance-placement. The LateLateShow performance didn’t do her/the song justice. (That stage is infamous for making singers/songs sound bad). Best of luck to Ireland and don’t forget to vote on May 10 🇬🇧🇦🇺🇲🇹🇨🇾
Has it been confirmed that its being revamp, I am delighted to hear that but just havent heard confirmation yet!
@@cathalsheehan9596 it’s been confirmed 🥳🇮🇪
I love the song. why do you think it did not qualify?
I always wonder. Can Vocal coaches sings or they only can do coaching?
She tried to take props onto the stage however the studio was too small
I am very curious of what you think about the winner of polish eliminations, Ochman- River. Would be great to see you reacting!
I like it but think it will get lost in the semi final as there are quite a lot of strong songs in there.
Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine selected their songs tonight for Eurovision
Stefan won for Estonia✊👏
I'm getting sickie now of Ireland not sending contenders to be honest. Bring back Ryan O.
Best Irish entry in YEARS. Seriously haters can hate. This is sailing through to the final and should do well. Otherwise ESC is a total shitshow!
It sailed into...oblivion!
Interestingly her winning reprise was better. Not often that happens.
Its such a good song, I love the studio version but I quite dislike the live performance, It gets boring a bit, I would love some more energy in her vocal or i dont know, something.
Good singing,. However, really boring track. If track is boring, they lose me even with a good singing performance, honestly.
I'm not the biggest follower of eurovision I watched in full last year and It was enjoyable but my biggest issue with me being from Ireland and seeing Ireland enter is it doesn't feel authentic... I was talking to a few relatives and they agree... I personally feel for Ireland to do well we need to send more of an authentic Irish singer because after all isn't that when we were doing much better/winning? The likes of an Irish artist that goes by "lyra" would be such a great example of who Ireland should send. Don't get me wrong Brooke MIGHT go on and do well but I genuinely don't think it'll go far and I'm fine being proven wrong if she does. Like haven't Ireland won 7 times? And what's going on now we are finding it hard to move up the rank... I'm not sure with our selections at all I can't say I liked any of Ireland selections for this year but, All the best to Brooke and I DO hope she proves me wrong... But as it stands I don't think it's a winning song at all.
I mean, this one was an open vote on RTE right? As opposed to Ireland's usual internal selection.
If you're not the biggest follower of Eurovison then you won't know that Ireland has generally sent the same style of stuff for years now and failed over and over again. The contest has moved on significantly from the 90s when Ireland last won. Songs that do well and win today are generally more more in touch with what you would hear on the radio and in the charts. We've been stuck in the past looking back at our glory days. They aren't coming back. Personally I'm thrilled we're finally trying something a little more contemporary and radio friendly. Given it won the public vote it would seem that the majority of Irish people decided it was the best song. It also got top marks for the 4 international jury members which says a lot too.
Yes I think it needs a little more expansive staging which I think they wanted to do but couldn't in the Late Late studio. With some extra styling, maybe two more dancers and good background graphics I think it could do very well. It has an instant hook, a very catchy chorus and a fun attitude. Go Brooke!
This song screams for a revamp. It's all fun and stuff but the production is awful and it doesn't fit her attitude yet.
The main issue is the chorus, if they could bump up the chorus to give that bit more energy and maybe added afew lyrics and take out 1 or 2 repetitions of “That’s Rich” in order to make it less repetitive then I think this song would improve tenfold.
whats your idea of a revamp, Ireland always change the staging at the main contest anyway,
It will be. You couldn't swing a cat on the RTE stage.
The staging if gonna be completely different on the night, and the song has been revamped, with a new pause at “stupid” and more drums building to a end
She reminds me too much of "Lolly" back in 00s that girly pop look and stage presence, song is just OK.
I'm not gonna lie, I don't like any of the songs so far for eurovision. I hope we have better songs with more rhythm and catchiness
I like the song, it's catchy but I don't like the stagging - especially how she looks like... The outfit like pijamas (not rich) and hair like the representant of Ireland in 2019 - like a small girl... I don't buy it.
I'm almost sure Irealand will stay in semi this year.
The staging is completely different to the staging we'll see in Turin.
I agree
How about the judging panel on the late late show. What a joke. What a laugh.
This won't qualify...
Another definite non-qualifier from Ireland again
I absolutely hate it 🤭
Liked this but the chorus is kinda annoying very quickly….
I think you just hit the nail on the head for why I hate thins song. It's the flick from head to chest voice the whole way through that's so bad IMO. The worst song of the night.
This Song is very good but Brooke Was Robbed from both Eurovision and Dancing With The Stars (thanks to RTÉ 2fm)
