LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics:
If this was the last day you could live on this earth
Would you still go on, accusing someone for today
It’s better to fail than not do anything at all
It is not the length, but depth of life that counts
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been though despair
Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to not care
You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life
Sometimes the life of one can save so many more
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan

lyrics: asami
music: miyako
arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Akane from BAND-MAID plays the trombone, too, or at least she did.
Man, "Five of a Kind" was such a great show. I was watching it last night daydreaming about being the new bass guitarist and hanging back on the stage while keeping pace with Haruna, watching Asami be all charming and graceful, and knowing Miyako and Midori are about to rip into a dual lead . . . man, that's the stuff dreams are made of!
Awesome performance!! The classical touch Lovebites gives to some of their songs is excellent!! They know how to mix metal and classical so well!! 🤘🙂🎸
See how the sing controls the crowd in Break The Wall. See the guitar battle in Scream For Me. both live,
Fella you got a shout out for "Winnie" on Mr B's channel....hmm🤔 Unless you're another Paul Read then ignore this comment.😏
Thanks for coming back to Lovebites and for featuring this masterpiece. Some background for your viewers who may not be familiar with classical composers: Chopin (pronounced Show-pan) was a Polish-born Romantic-era (1800’s) classical composer and piano virtuoso who lived most of his life in France. He is considered one of the greatest classical composers of all time. Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now one of the best metal guitarists in the world. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor).
You are one of the very few reactors who paid attention to Midori's sensational guitar solo right near the end. Most completely overlook it, probably because the camera isn't focused on her and everyone seems to focus on the chanting going on. But you realized she was killing it and pointed it out, and even went back to hear it again. Kudos to you! Great reaction. Miyako is a virtuoso, what a phenomenal talent.
This performance is what I like to call "Miyako Magic"! (piano and guitar) LOVEBITES are the saviors of Heavy Metal! :)
Clasical music is very appreciated by japanese audience. Almost all the japaneses must study how to play an instrument in high school, is part of the subjects in almost all the schools.
Also, a lot of musicians in Japan have a classic background. Miyako starts learning piano from the age of 3 or 4 years old (same as Midori) and she even participate in classic competitions in the past. The singer also have training as a ballet dancer.
No other metal band can pull this off...PERIOD! Out of this world talent!
Exactly! First they will fail to find a drummer that is fast and precise enough.
Lovebites-The best japanese band ever! Thanks for reaction, dude! Best wishes from Bulgaria, Europe!
Cheers!🍷
We call that Miyako Magic, not only is she a great musician but she composes alot of their music, including this song. ❤🎙🎸🥁🎹😎👌P.S. Try, " A Frozen Serenade."
I have really enjoyed your reactions (even though I've only seen a couple of them). They are insightful, positive, and informative. I especially appreciated in this one how you mention the difficulty of switching between instruments within a song (it's already an adjustment to switch from one song to another).
Side note: I just recently discovered Lovebites and have been watching hundreds of reaction videos on them, and you're the first one to actually make a comment on "the leg". I realize that's dangerous territory to comment on, but it's also just.... there..... how can one not appreciate that too?! 😝
Wow... this is Haruna's song, such a rock solid performance. Man... Miho making it look so effortless on bass... No wait, Asami's performance in this song is incredible definitely her song... WOW Miyako and Midori's solos are so strong... WAIT A DAMN MINUTE DID MIYAKO GET BACK ON THE PIANO?!?
I've said this before but imagine being as amazing as Midori is on guitar, and being the second-best guitarist in her own band.
And as my friend Champ says... "We should all feel grateful that we get live in a time of Miyako".
Stunningly beautiful. Lovebites have made music a work of art. 🐺🤘
Nice statement. Stunningly beautiful applies both to Lovebites AND this work of art 🙂.
Hey Lovebites! Stop making me Cry, Already! 🐺🏴🤘😢
Hail The Maidens Queens👑 of Heavy Metal 🇯🇵LOVEBITES🐺
in School, at a young age, in Japan they are exposed to Music and pick and play instruments, The crowd/ audience are most likely exposed to it as well 🙂
Frozen Serenade❣️
In the background You can hear another Chopin etude: "Ocean" and in the end the mix with "Symphony from new World" from Dvorak!
Winds of Transylvania. The Vlad Love version. They were hired to do the intro song for a Japanese anime Vlad Love. This will blow your mind bloody awesome.
Regarding, classic piano and the audience accepting it:
First, Lovebites has more songs with piano and even classical guitar. So fans are prepared.
Second, Japanese people both are very polite and also are brought up on classical music.
Third, there actually is a strong connection between classical and metal. Bach is after all the most metal composer in history.
Damn!! You are gonna be my favorite. Great review!! Yes, that tiny squirrel on the drum's got power of a grizzly. She does that all through their every show that lasts about two hours each, and that leggy guitarist's got a pair of pretty legs. Yes, this song has some elements of classic (romantic era) music. The motif is Dovolzark's the New World Symphony, the tapping reproducing Chopin Revolutionary Etude, the ending is Chopin Ocean Etude like. The theme of Swan Song shares the same theme of Revolutionary Etude (intro). That is death of heroes, dedication and sacrifice, honor and glory.
The singer has a very wide range of her register, and power, and very long sustain, but my recommendation for your next reaction to Lovebites is something different. A very and very soulful piece. Slow and soulful ballad. The singer was a jazz/R&B singer till she joined Lovebites, and she sings this tune so soulful, and the twin guitars shake and break your heart in pieces. You'll know Midori the blond shredder is more than a shredder. Epilogue czcams.com/video/JIAJYBuuKGM/video.html
I'm a classic rock and blues guy. Wich is why I prefer Band Maid and Rolling Quartz when it comes to Asian girl band's. But for all the Metal Heads out there that prefer this band I get it. They are all incredibly talented! I'd go see this show in a minute! So very very good! 😊😎🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
*bands
Please listen to Lovebites’ song called “Dancing With The Devil” It's a blues hard rock.
@@progandmetalfan711 😎😎😎
Great reaction i like your opinion
LoveBites Edge Of The World you must react this song ,because so manny change in the arrangement , beautyful song & lyric
If you enjoyed this track especially I'd recommend checking out the live version of Frozen Serenade. If you're more up for another killer thrash song look up the live version of Set the World On Fire. You can't go wrong either way!
Their latest AUDIO cover songs PAIN KILLER (Judas Priest) 🤘
Miyako is freak of nature.......
In 1831, an anti-government movement (November Revolution) by officers and people against the Polish government under the control of imperial Russia failed due to the direct intervention of Russian troops.
Chopin will be informed of this news at his travel destination. He lost his place to return. And in Paris, where he was staying, "Piano Etude OP10, No12" was announced by his agent.
His agent exaggeratedly advertised it, and eventually it became known as the "revolutionary etude."
Miyako, who has been learning the piano since the age of three, composed "Swan Song" from this "Revolutionary Etude" and Dvorak's "New World". And I think Asami, who had been learning classical ballet since she was two years old, wrote the lyrics based on Chopin's episode, with the image of Norse mythology and "Swan Lake".
"Swan Song" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to regain the country.
This was another great reaction from you. Vocalist Asami in this video is like a beautiful swan :) I think all this song is full of Shopin music, especially in the solos.
In the future I'd like you to watch "Set the world on fire", "Frozen Serenade" and "Spellbound". And of course you need to check Wagakki Band!
Thank you for your great reaction.
I agree on all three songs😀👍
Metal Music was never boring
PS The Drummer. I believe her name is Haruna? She looks like she's 12 but she's been around for a minute. Before Love Bites she was in Dextrose. Before that she was one of the original CZcams sensations. She is one of the best known musicians in Japan. Great Reaction Brother! 😊😎🤘
well she is a professional trained classical pianist.
For me, classical music and metal have something in common.. 🗿
Exactly. If Chopin was around today, he would be into Metal.
As a classical musician you should really check out Unlucky Morpheus
Second that. Unlucky Morpheus is in their own dimension!
When Miyako plays the piano ....everyone goes silent listening to her brilliance.
When Midori shreds ....everyone pumps their fists listening to the ease and speed the way she plays the guitar.
When Haruna beats those drums ....everyone is up on their feet dancing and clapping at her brilliant drumming.
When Asami belts out those powerful vocals.....everyone shouts in glee and sings along with her.
When Miho plucks the bass at blistering speeds....everyone pumps their fist high up in the air along with her and headbangs.
In short....Lovebites rules . The best heavy metal band existing on planet earth 🌏...NOW.
Thanks a lot for your great reaction.
Glory to Lovebites! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
MIHO! MIHO! MIHO! 🤘🐺🔥
Masterpiece.
lovebites the new next level of metal 🤘
after Swan song I recommend edge of the world 🐺💗
Combining classical and metal is hardly new. Admittably most bands do not have (or need) the skills to play a large range of classical instruments, but those that do certainly use what they have. Sometimes it's just a few notes here or there or say a violin or cello on stage, while others do far past that and include entire classical pieces in their setlist. If nothing else, you can always invite a symphonic orchestra over for a joint gig 🥰
For example, here's Pergolesi's Sabat Mater Dolorosa performed as a part of a metal concert: czcams.com/video/nhtOORYTGx8/video.html
Please react to edge of the world by lovebites
I think next will be: Epilog or The Edge of the world :)
Ahahaha, and if you could find the video where Miyako plays the guitar and electric piano at the same time (yes, no mistake, at the same time I said) you would fall on your ass...
MIYAKO!
Graet Reaction Friend , please react to A Frozen Serenade , amazing song . Here from Chile .
Miho Miho Miho! Miyako also plays Bass and can turn a beat on Drums talk about TALENT can you say Savant.
After watching this performance its like the feeling you get when you lean back after a really good Christmas dinner. So good and replete.
you who liked the guitarist playing the piano so much, see this one that she plays keyboard and guitar at the same time czcams.com/video/4OBf_Gn8efs/video.html
This band has no peer.
Miyako top 😎
you will find the audiences so receptive to miyako on piano because they know that is her first instrument and is highly skilled. 29 years on the keys will do that ! then she goes and makes the guitar look easy as well. tapping , note bending, sweep picking and pinch harmonics seem to be her specialty along with her gary moore stylings as well. too much talent to ignore - and then she is a master of songwriting and the queen of riffs. they call her the golden touch. then you add supershredder midori to the mix and it just goes over the top
🐺🤘👏👏👏👏
The Goddesses of Heavy Metal!! They are worshipped by their fans. 🤘🏻🐺
Since you really appreciated and understood what a big deal it is to bring classical into a rock concert, here is something you have to do: “Stabat Mater Dolorosa”, the first movement from the "Stabat Mater", composed in 1736 by Giovanni Pergolesi and performed by Epica with Simone Simons and guest star Floor Jansen. It is based on a 13th century hymn about Mary mourning her crucified son. Pergolesi was suffering from tuberculosis, and died the day he completed the suite. He was only 26 years old. “Stabat Mater” is written for soprano and contralto, though the contralto line is often performed by a counter-tenor. In the Epica version, Floor Jansen does the contralto line, which is just mind-blowing in itself given that she normally performs in the soprano register. While they sing, the arena full of amped-up metalheads are reduced to stunned silence.

Very operatic. Sadly thats coming from the guy who went to watch opera in Verona and hated every single second. I dont know, as fast as it is I just find it boring. Oh well the world would be boring if we all liked the same stuff.
Thats all Miyako bro. She is classically trained and plays piano since the age of 3. Started with guitar at 18, plays bass a little and drumms a little bit too, even did some of the lyrics. Miyako does all music for Lovebites, has home studio where her and Midori (second guitarist) play and practice for hours every day. Thats why they shred in sync so good. Miyako is a musical genius. Love all Lovebite girls all but she is my favorite
The comment is long⤵︎
miyako is not so great as a guitarist (compared to midori) and pianist (as a professional ) but her skills of writing metal tunes are AMAZING. Lovebites are really helped by miyako, the writing genius.
Wait, Miyako is a top notch as a guitarist , a composer and a pianist.
I disagree, many metalheads will listen to classical music, since it's closest to heavy and power metal, most of my metalhead friends listen to a lot of classical music.
oh boy leave it to professional mucisians thinking they could have done it better, thats why they are at home and they are out there making albums and concerts but they can do it better. Why not give praise where praise is deserved, give encouraging remaks and up;ifting comments instead of beating around the bush, "Its not my place" what the heck does that even mean?
I did give praise, a ton of it. “It’s not my place” meaning if ppl were looking for me to breakdown and say things she is doing wrong, I will not do that because she did, in my opinion, play very well. Why are you bitter? I gave much praise and never said I could do better, I many times over said I couldn’t.
You were kinda rude in a previous comment as well so I’m just gonna chalk it up to you being old and bitter. I get it, let people make their own things without your lame comments. We can like the same thing DIFFERENTLY. That’s a crazy concept but yes. Please do not watch my content anymore. I do not like you here, thanks :)
